Bell's Two-Hearted and Voodoo Ranger Imperial IPA have been my go-to beers after a long day.
Big fan of Terrapin's stuff, especially their Luau and Up-Hi IPAs. |

I remember being so confused when I was handed an Up-Hi after asking for a Hi-5 while in Athens. Thought I went mad with a wrong name I just knew to be true until the bartender told me they recently changed their name |

I didn't read all the way through the thread, so apologies if it's already been mentioned. I found a beer while spending some time the the redwoods of Northern California a few years ago that I fell in love with; Tangerine Wheat from Lost Coast Brewery in Eureka, CA. Living in Colorado has turned me into a bit of a beer snob and there are a tone of great local beers in Colorado. A favorite is a Raspberry Wheat from Longs Peak Brewery in Estes Park. I'm also a big fan of Abby from New Belgian Brewery in Fort Collins, CO as well as their 1554. Another good dark beer is Breckenridge Brewery's Vanilla Porter.

Should've visited Terrapin when I worked in Athens. I'll make my way over there at some point. Never been a fan of the smell of weed, but I thought that the beers were pretty solid. I could be drug tested at any time as well, but there's no THC or anything in the hops from what I understand (hence why it can be sold in grocery stores). They just have that dank smell from the strain of hops used. |

It was replaced with Steel Hands IPA, which arguably is very good as well. |

My one friend used to tell me, the last one's free. I would always think, yeah but I need to drink more of these weak ass brews to get a buzz.

I just don’t care for the hoppy stuff. Coors drinks easy and doesn’t fill me up. I prefer cans as well. I admit I will drink a Guinness if on tap. But day to day Coors light for the win.

They are a very solid brewery, they don't have a beer I don't like - cozy tap room up in Fort Bragg if you ever get the chance to go up

Kizakura Kyoto Matcha IPA
Solid IPA base and the matcha actually works nicely. If you like green tea, that is. Too bad it retails for $7-8 a bottle... Worth trying for the novelty at least. Honorary mention to Magic Hat #9 for more regular drinking. https://www.totalwine.com/beer/ale/p...t-9/p/17140126

I like Kyoto! I had the Kyoto "Kolsch" when I was in Hawaii a couple years ago and I loved it. I have not seen them at all here on the mainland

I really have no favorite beer and what I drink is largely dependent on the season. I pretty much like all styles except the sours. In the warmer months, it's the lighter and brighter stuff. In the colder months, the heavier and darker stuff.
My general favorites in no particular order: KC Bier - Helles Prairie Artisan Ales - Bomb! (highly acclaimed and rare stout) 3 Floyds Brewing Co. - Zombie Dust (Pale Ale) Roughtail Brewing Co. - Everything Rhymes with Orange (juicy IPA) Boulevard Brewing Co. - The Calling (double IPA) Budweiser (NOT LIGHT!)

Granville Island - Lions Winter Ale
Torque - Redline (IPA) Devil May Care - Get Up Offa That Thang (brown ale) Dogfish Head - 60 & 90 minute IPA (not available here) Generally most Ciders, IPAs, and Ales. Skipping light beers (water) The local Breweries here are great. |
