I like it, fingers crossed the m2 will get a more aggressive rear end

Simply tinting the clear section of the taillight is an improvement.

This sketch above or something along the lines of the 2002 hommage and I'd be cutting a big check.

I'm not a huge fan of the lights below the number plate, but overall it's a nice sketch.

It actually looks really good when the lower portion of the tail light is blacked out.

Just some M-performance add on sticker. You can see the M-perf carbon front splitter, the grills look to gloss carbon as well.

I don't know if it is better, but it definitely looks more like a Jr. M package front bumper. Definitely more aggressive than previous non-M pack.

The style-line coming off the top portion of the front fender and into the door makes the door look as if it has been wrecked. My mind knows it's there to accentuate the flare, like in the rear, but it just doesn't work for me, visually.

Probably looks better with proper lighting but I agree. I bet the M2 has crazy wide front fenders to really use this bold line to accentuate the fender

The front grille gives me some E89 vibes (definitely a good thing). The tail lights give me E90 chicklet tail light vibes (that's a bad thing).

Overall this is shaping up to be a great starting point for the next M2!

I think it's tying-in to the huge triangle on the front bumper, as there seem to be angular and triangular shapes all over this thing.

But yes, I'll reserve judgement until it's right in front of me so I can see it properly.

Moar leaks! The non M-sport looks pretty good. Now if only they'll give us a RWD 230i with 6MT option...

No. Neither with round tailpipes nor with a different shape hence signature of the taillights.

Yup, you're right...

The base model does look a lot better. Maybe I'll save $10k and play with a four banger for awhile. Or just hold on to my cash and see how weird the M2 gets.

You could be right, currently we in the UK only get the M340i/440i in Xdrive (8AT of course).

I have heard rumours the 340 would be offered here in RWD too at some point, like in the US, but I've not seen any confirmation of that. So it's likely we'll get the M240 as Xdrive only too.

I've also not seen anything that suggests 6MT either, but bearing in mind the bulk of the range - including most of the 1-series models - is almost exclusively 8AT, I'm not holding my breath.
