F1 2021: Turkish GP - Istanbul (Oct 10)

what happened to the rain master that couldnt past "The Grandpa" on the wheel?
even falling behind a lot.. but of course when Max is slow its because of the car.. but when Max is fast its all about the talent..

i was listening and watching Lewis' onboard at the same time all race.. frustration could be felt vividly after the pitstop.. probably Lewis d fall behind anyway with extremely worn tires but would it worth trying? donno.. looks like a clear mistake from Merc' to call Lewis in.. though if something d go wrong with worn tires it would be devastating to not to score anything at all.. i guess it wont be totally right to say it was wrong to pit Lewis..

Ocon didnt pit as well he was struggling a lot towards the end.. probably Lewis d hang on better but as i ve said it d be really hard for him to score a podium anyway.. a SC or some sun could save it.. but that was the first time i ve seen Lewis was totally silent after the race.. didnt say a word at all.. quite a disappointment for him.. but there are still some races..

Ferraris were looking quite strong.. though it was obvious that they re slower than RBs and Mercs.. but both drivers were racing quite well.. its good to see some action from Ferraris..

McLaren were not happy this weekend that they couldnt shine at all..

it was a bit funny to see Alonso do the same thing after calling Gasly idiot..

even though im not a fan of Gasly..

RB haven't protested but like other teams have asked FIA to look into the Merc sudden turn of speed on the straights.

That's what HAM showed us at Imola by kissing the wall . Twice !
And MAX ran easely to P1 in heavy rain !

Yeah right . Even BOT-grandma was able to show us how big the Mercedes power advantage is , even in the wet !

Fact is that Mercedes has changed something during their PU's replacements to get more warp-speed power !
While Mercedes is still cheating with the flexible front wing and the cooling air sensor trick in the intake plenum ..

Perhaps you are thinking that monster power advantage just drops out of the sky ?

On the other hand , by the Merc's power, balance and warp-speed pace advantage : And what we witnessed today It's looking really bad for HONDA and MAX in the coming races ...

RB asked FIA about Merc bendy front wing:no response, plenum chamber questionable sensors: weak response and now with the extra 15-20kph on straights we'll see what becomes of this with their reply.

HAM pushed Checo •Intentionaly by going too wide into the pit lane .

If this was done by Checo . Checo would get at least a 10 sec. penalty !

But today after the incident it remained SILENT !
At that moment I thought : WTF ?!?!

In other words : Mercedes has to win the WDC with full FIA support !

Yep, that Gasly penalty was complete bullshit HAM or not. In the rain, 1st turn, 1st lap sandwiched with no where to go. The stewards have been completely awful this year!!!

Okay...now I'm convinced you don't follow IndyCar. In the 2021 season there were 14 races. Eleven were on road courses (street circuits & dedicated tracks). Three were on ovals. The street circuits are just as tight as Monaco

It was a great race even though there wasn’t the chaos that usually accompanies a wet race. I think Ham would certainly have been on the podium and probably passed Max if it was a dry race, that Merc was clearly above and beyond the RB at this track. Ferrari had great pace and Ferrari fvcked up not bringing Charles in to cover Checo and cost him the podium. But probably the biggest surprise for me was Bottas’ pace and the fact he didn’t spin 20x like last year, I was waiting for it the entire race to be honest.

Yeah at Sochi . MAX overtook BOT there , like BOT was standing still...And I'm not exaggerating !

MAX ran from P20 to P2 !

And look today , how BOT was running in warp-speed ...
BOT was the 'whole race untouchable !

You are correct! I only watch the Indy 500 & a small oval...Kansas is it?

That's a shame, it's a very competitive open wheel series that doesn't rely on a manufactured gimmick (DRS) for one car to pass another. Indycar's "push-to-pass" allows the lead driver a defense that a F1 driver could only dream about having.

I think only having two manufacturers is what turns me off. Plus I don't like Honda or Chevy brands. I'll try to watch more but kinda hard to match the drama of F1. I do like GRO so that's a plus.

So the real question is do you think Herta could make the move?
