New render I stumbled upon. Looks pretty close I'd assume, other than the grills I feel are a little more square. Looks pretty good to me. Whoever made this has some real talent.

Project_F87 whatcha think?

Details are off. There shouldn't be any black grill surrounds as it will be built into the body. Also the bumper openings look very thin and too flat.

Not a really good render at all, unfortunately. I see tons of details wrong with the front and side of the car. Front bumper is completely inaccurate. I would say it's a 65% accurate render. Gives a good general idea but not as good as the render we've worked on here in the forums with Tag

Is there a power dome on the hood or is it vented at all like the M2CS?

It's the same power dome style hood that's on the 2 series right now. Guessing a new hood will make an appearance when (and if) a CS or CSL comes

Doubt any future G87 variants will get hood vents. The M4 CSL doesn't have any. It does however have one feature that I love, and that's the ducktail trunk lid.

I believe this is what Artemis is referencing. This design feature was first pointed out by Project_F87 after he saw the car without camo.

For some reason I thought he was referring to side vents. Will the M2 have side vents? There doesn't seem to be any indication of that in the prototypes.

He said 'side panels', so I think Artemis is talking about the rear quarter panels? The G80/2 have 'faux' vents, they are just for styling. The G87 will have 'vents' in the fenders too, but we haven't seen them on the base prototypes. There are spy pics of the car with M Performance parts where you can see the shape of the vents under the camo. They appear to be similar to the G80/2, but not exactly the same.

Check the swooping line of the rear quarter panels of these concept models - it finds it way in a (highly) toned down version to the G87 M2:

Wonder if the M Performance rear bumper will actually look better. I mean look at the rear in that pic. Very nice (said in Borat voice)!

It's an M Performance part. So, if you want fender vents you need to buy the whole M Performance fender and have it painted too!

Oh man I forgot about the previous m2's performance part lineup.

There was a lot of that going on.

If I remember correctly you could easily spend 25k more for all the parts it's should have had.
