This is not correct, 10 level traction control and drift analyzer is standard on the G87, at least for the US spec cars:

If folks had a better understanding what this feature allows, they would surely be ranting about it: Selecting the optional M Drive Professional brings the new M Traction Control function. Making its debut in the new BMW M3 and M4, this new traction control allows the driver to set the intervention thresholds for wheel slip. The iDrive menu for this system displays ten stages of defined permitted wheel slip. The new traction control option gives the driver the ability to select the ideal balance of racing-car performance and directional stability for the situation, the road conditions and their personal preferences. This allows them to approach the limits on the track by reducing the extent of control system inputs in stages. |

So far from what I see, BMW really didn't overdo it on the pricing structure for the M2, at least for the US market. Any word if the sunroof is included gratis also? |

Sunroof has to be standard since it is not listed as an option like the carbon roof. Base G42 comes with the sunroof as standard, I seriously doubt the G87 lacking compared to the G42…

Perfectly balanced. Balanced in terms of performance, luxury, utility, cost, etc. I called it my Goldilocks car. Just right. Now, yeah, I did buy a 2008 Cayman S in April 2009. I decided on the S just to experience the extra power (and I thought I might miss the power of the 2006 GTO (6.0l V8 with 400hp) I was trading in and Porsche made it even easier by discounting the new Cayman S -- by $12,000!. List was $62.6K and I got the car for $50.6K. Unfortunately the Cayman was hit and totaled just 4 weeks after I bought it. Tried to find another Cayman but they were all gone. Some nice Boxsters left but I still had my 2002 and didn't want a 2nd Boxster. Ended up with a 996 Porsche Turbo with a 6-speed. While I really like my 2022 230i, if there was a Porsche dealer in the area I'd have a Cayman in a heart beat. Can't beat that mid-engine layout for handling and road feel. |

If that's true I'm hoping moon roof delete is available without getting carbon.

I was never one to put too much emphasis on a vehicle's design, the nerd in me always beeline to the spec sheet first, then accepted whatever the chosen appearance is but I was just initially taken back on how aggressive the styling appeared in the leaked photos. I much rather prefer something sporty but still constrained however, I could see this vehicle working in a black hue, as it neuters a lot of its bodywork's rambunctiousness. When the initial fanfare subsides and I can negotiate a decent price for one, I more than likely will scoop it up. But ain't no way I'm paying above sticker or markup, which I believe is still currently a fact of life. |

Copy and Paste from the new exterior color poll. I just wanted to state this here as well.
No U.S. Center has been allocated anything as of yet. Centers are placing customer specs into the order bank which is basically notifying NA that they have got a customer(s) waiting with a priority one build, please give us an allocation ASAP. |

M2 calipers
Looking at images, the new 2023 rear calipers seem to be seem to be a downgrade from the outgoing M2C. Or am I missing something?

No, just a deposit to be added. It's a car not a damn club. If allocations are available they are so because they haven't been filled at that particular dealership. I wouldn't pay a dealer to take my money, crazy.

What?
That's what I'm saying.. I didn't have to make a deposit, do they usually take deposits to be added to the order bank or is my dealer doing me a favor? |
