Oh yea, the rear is a pain in the ass. I did it 4 times, twice on my OG and twice on my comp while car was on jack stands. Eventually you just kick it loose

Don't mean to hijack, but does anyone know which option I should chose for the g87? Not sure if it makes any real difference..
Drop down menu only has G80 M3 and G82 M4 as options.

Had the web guys add G87 M2 to the drop down however per BMW its the same kit as G80 / G82.

As much as I'd like the MP HAS, it's just too expensive for what it is. I'd rather get KW at almost a third of the price and made by the same brand.

Most of the press commented the ride was very firm. While I know the car will look great lowered, I'm not convinced it's worth it, or even possible with the roads we have around town.

That’s my apprehension as well in NYC. I’d love the look of the drop but don’t believe it’s worth the harsher ride and to echo Game, at $2800 Port Installed (which I would do to get it on the Moroney) is nothing to scoff at.

Additionally, a tech related question, how do you guys and gals paste someone’s Username onto a post? For example for Game above.

Type the @ and it should give you a dropdown of names.

Ex. @ cmgbk75 (without the space )

The reviews have made me grateful I have optioned it. I think with HAS and forged wheels will help liven up the car a bit.

No. I'm a shade tree mechanic and I would have no way of untorqueing or torqueing such wheels.

The way the HAS are wound they appear to be progressive rate springs. If the drop isn’t too much they may likely ride better than stock.

I am thinking of buying the M3 forged wheels and keeping the stock wheels as winter setup (with mandatory winter tires).

Tag Rx-7ames or anyone else know how much time the MP HAS Port Install adds to the time at Port? I thought I saw a week somewhere but now I can’t find that post. From my recall, I believe that was when they first started doing it on the G8x so not sure/hoping it’s quicker now.

Don't know, but you can search the forum for option code Z58 and PM those that spec'd their cars with it.

When I went in to see my CA the other day and add the cf package he said the mperf exhaust is currently not an option, he saw it a few weeks ago but for some reason it's not coming up now. Is anyone that works at a dealership able to check if it's the same across the board?

I'm guessing not enough people optioned it.

Currently MP HAS not showing as a Port option, it was available last Monday. As my SM says, probably an inventory issue.

He’s a great guy but he admittedly is not the most knowledgeable about MPP or Port options so it’s possible YMMV.

The suspension* is still showing on my order. Same thing happened with my CA and the mperf exhaust though, him n I sat and double checked every option available. He said sometimes they drop off the list and pop back up later.
