Great TV series - What are you watching now?

I started watching Kingdom last night, MMA stuff. Pretty decent so far.

I've watched the first episode. I will watch the second and third over the weekend. It seems to be all set-up and character establishment in the first episode. My brother has gotten through the first 2 and says it's good. We are both huge Marvel fans.

Watched the first 2 so far; and agree. First episode is mostly set-up; second episode starts to show "trouble in paradise" so to speak; won't say any more to avoid spoilers.

Biggest thing I've noticed so far is you need to pay close attention to the show - things change subtly but quickly, and there are easter eggs everywhere in it.

I will say this: Some people have complained about the "design" of the show - where it is so old-fashioned, etc. Personally I love it. I grew up on old reruns of I Love Lucy, Bewitched, etc so I totally get the feel they are going for and I think I see the "why" as well.

So I watched the 1st 2 episodes on Friday night and fell in love. My wife watched with me, but wasn't impressed at all.

Recommended it to some old fraternity brothers, and one of them has apparently binged all of the episodes a couple of times and loves it. I haven't met Shoresy yet, but I've seen a couple YouTube clips of his best of. They're hilarious.

Started "Surviving Death" The first episode was interesting enough. Now I'm onto the second of "mediums" and it's suddenly cornball bs, but much like a train wreck I can't look away. Son's gf walked in as one medium was describing the séance that was about to happen and she just about went off on the TV

Wife and I watched the first episode of Yellowstone on the free Paramount app before we realized that only the first episode was on the app. A friend at work at the first season on DVD and we just watched it. A little over the top on how much is going on but very interesting characters and very well done. I recommend.

If you're in to international films, I suggest White Tiger. I heard a piece on Fresh Air (NPR) about it and had to check it out. It did not disappoint.

I want to continue Lupin, but i hate hate hate dubbed voices. Give me subtitles and the original language.

+1. I'm with you on the dubbed voices. Not sure anyone hates it more than me but I had to recently get over it. My thought is: I'm a junkie for good content so I know I'm missing out if I immediately discount a show/movie due to dubbed voices.

To be honest, as hard as it is to imagine this, you kind of get used to the dubbed voices pretty quickly if the content is good. Just my two pennies...

I watched it in French with Subs, no idea that it was dubbed until like a few days ago.

I prefer subbed myself, because I watch everything with subtitles lol. If you like to original XMen, check Wolverine and the X-men, And Spectacular Spider-Man. Both may not be available on nextflix, but worth a watch - Especially Spectacular Spider-Man (I’m not going to hype it, but it’s great 8/10)
Greg Wiesmann (who created it) went on to do Young Justice (which again, is FANTASTIC- easily one of the best animated US shows, period 9/10)

Agree with the Cobra Kai fans...such a good show! Also recently binged Top Boy which was excellent imo. Been watching Bullet Proof, Big Skye, LA's Finest, In The Long Run to name a few. We usually record stuff and then binge when the weather sucks! LoL

On episode seven, season three of the expanse. What an absolutely great TV show. One of the top 10 of all time. Great writing, great science.

Agreed, it doesn’t seem to get much hype.

I was an early adopter and I’m up to waiting for the 10th ep of season 5 to drop.
