It's pouring. Already drenched twice- once during my 40 min walk with the dogs and again running into the building at work.

Where's our rain?

We desperately need it here in California.

Shortly after my post we got a "Severe Thunder Storm Warning" on the cell/tv.

Last less than a hour but... I got a dozen (probably more when I go in) trees down in the backyard forest line but no damage to the house or garage.

Drove in town to pick-up a pizza, the 10 minutes ride turn into 30 minutes as no trafic light were working and the Main Street was block. A few millions worth of damage.

120,000 without power. The generator kit in 4 hours ago. I don't think the power will be back today.

Maybe I'm going crazy, but I thought that Sky News said that Spain was having a heat wave and Germany was seeing tornadoes?

I also saw a report that Michigan had a tornado rip through a town where the NWS has their regional radar station.....

Hot and humid. Went to the Bill Burr show last night at an open air amphitheater and he was drenched. Went outside for some chores now and I am too.

Mostly cloudy and upper 70's F here in the SC midlands. A line of t-storms came through around noon, and a second line came through after 6 PM. The afternoon line generated a tornado warning for where we were at the time. Radar-indicated, and I didn't see it.

On the bright side, one of our questions about our SC lot is if water is flowing through a certain part of it during heavy rains. We now have an answer (no), and wet hiking boots drying in the bathroom.....

Wicked storm tore through the province on Saturday. Our local airport clocked the winds at 132km/h (82mph). Tons of trees / hydro lines down and at least 10 people died. It's going to take weeks to clean up.

I flew home on Sunday so wasn't there to witness it.

Glad to hear it, bobowar135.

Maybe us here in Cali will get some of that rain.

Cold here all day. Cloudy with no sun. Will take my nightly walk soon and will have to wear a jacket. Usually don't.

I wore a jacket for our walk last night but was overheating towards the end of the walk. T-shirt and shorts/sandals tonight.

Yeah, I usually take the jacket off and just carry it for the second half of my walk. Like the feel of fresh air. Takes a lot to make me feel that cold.

And now I go...
