I was at my dealer on Long Island yesterday and they had just received a Brooklyn Gray on Tacora Red M240i. It still had all the interior packaging in there. My CA said the owner was coming to get it that day, but I drove by there on my way back from dinner last night and it was still there.

This is the only one I've seen there other than the one employee's car since I placed my order in April.

I'd imagine it came off of that ship. I don't know of any others being delivered recently.

I'm right behind you. My ship makes one more stop in Philly before coming to NY. This has been by far the longest part of the wait.

That is mine most likely. They don’t have the title so I couldn’t pick it up Friday like I wanted to. They said by Mon/Tuesday I should be able to get it. Zzzzzzzz

When did you first put your order in?

The reason I ask is I took over someone else's allocation that was already scheduled for production. Just curious how long I would have waited had I not gotten lucky.

No update so far, the work order for the quality check was started Wednesday and I have not seen any movement since then :/

It was either Gyeon cancoat, cquartz UK 3.0, or meguiars hybrid paint coating. I went with Meguiars after looking at all testing on YouTube/online. 1+ year consumer grade coating with crazy water beading + sheeting. Super easy to apply and price is on point! Very underrated product you should def check out!

Checking it out now. I too watched a bunch of YouTube videos on a lot of different products, yet this one escaped me. Just looked at it on Amazon, it does look good. The kit comes with the surface prep stuff. I had planned to just do a good wash and apply Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray. But I'd need to apply that more often than the Meguiars.

Yeah there was a part of me that was like "I'd never buy meguiars for a coating". But if you watch Scott HD 1 year+ real world testing, the meguiars is outlasting some big name coatings that are double/triple the price. Plus like you said, you get the prep, mf towels, applicator pads. It's super easy to apply...I'm glad I went with it.

I'd literally hire my own transportation and ship the car myself if that was an option. Calling my dealer shortly and will update yall. Fingers crossed no more delays.

Right there with you. I'm having my manager email the VPC to see what's going on with the delays. I know the average time is 3-5 days through the VPC and that if there is any damage on the vehicle that is over 3% of the cost of the car they have to report it, but I just feel like something is up with these cars. Hopefully we see some movement today!
