Got these from AliExpress. It was packed well and the black was a solid match. Very happy with the results.

Clean. Much less cheesy than carbon fiber mirror caps on cars that don't come with it haha

I have Brooklyn grey metallic and God damn I hate the black skirt

I like mine. '23 BG. White and BG are the 2 colors where it stands out IMO. Kinda like an extended shadowline contrast. I think it looks more sporty with the black skirts.

It also gets dirty AF very quickly, and is already scratched to hell because it's piano black. IMO if they wanted the car to look more sporty, design it sportier instead of trying to make the illusion via skirts haha. I love the car but man, if I could change something it would be that. I think it was like $1500 to get the skirts and area around the weird fake diffuser done

I'm going to try and get some clips of the Alibaba exhaust and post them here. Swear I went from never driving in comfort mode to regularly driving in it and even driving slower and therefore safer, just because I don't have to try to chase exhaust sounds. Having the valve controller sync'd up to my garage opener buttons on the mirror makes it so easy too.

It's so deep and resonant, and totally saves the car from the rather boring stock exhaust. This totally sounds better than the M performance as well (have compared it IRL on an M240i. $1100+install gets you a game changer and you don't even need to mess with the downpipe. Burbles for days, but no pops unless you go WOT and suddenly let off. Cold start will wake the dead though.

ifound2pac the black side skirts are the probably the one thing I hate most on the exterior. I get the thought with the contrasting black being sporty, but they are too large of a body panel so it looks odd. If they were 70% body color with the bottom 30% black, I would love it.

Mine are in good shape after 3 northeast winters.

Interesting opinion on cf mirror caps, I think they look awesome and are a subtle improvement to the black caps.

Yours look tastefully done NGL. Might have to change my opinion. Got a link to your supplier?

It's just such a pain to keep the side skirts clean, maaaaybe some one carries body matched paint versions now that the 2025 models come with them

I bought them from yaodechain.com in early 2023. They are likely the same as those you will find on aliexpress. Just make sure you get the full carbon version, and not the ones that are plastic and have just a carbon fiber layer added.

I do like the black lower parts on my BG but I do agreed they get dirty faster vs the rest of the car. All my gloss black parts of the car have PPF to avoid scratches it is a must on black plastics.

I can understand people thinking it doesn't look all that great with certain colors, but I think it works very well on the car with Thundernight Metallic. I think it might be too much purple otherwise.

Replaced the stock (poor excuse for a) spoiler with the TRE carbon fiber CS-style rear spoiler. I prefer it because it's more understated than the other CF spoilers out there like the BMW MP and TRE ID-01.

Can you give a view of how it looks from the rear view of the car? Just got mine in and it's not quite that understated

"Understated" as in not quite as much of a duckbill as the other spoilers I mentioned.

Dig that color. Yeah the one I got just came in and is more along the lines of M performance style. Which I like, but I wish these spoilers came in paint matched colors. I think that looks so much better than a carbon spoiler.

You just get it painted at a high end autobody. Lots of people have paint matched their carbon spoilers. Outside of IND there is practically nobody who makes paint matched parts in stock.

Pretty much yeah, I've only seen it from IND. Though on Brooklyn Grey Metallic it might look good since it looks good on the silver color above. I'll be installing mine in a week or so and find out

Got a new screen.

Previous one was making a high pitch creaking and plastic sound. Thought it was a plastic click or something but the dealership replaced the entire screen

Just peeled off the plastic film and the glue smell is strong 🤢
