Finally picked it up tonight! That wait was brutal from start to finish. From the port to the dealer was the worst part for me. Maybe I was impatient at that point since it was so close. Idk! I hope you guys get your cars soon !!

Niceee man,hang in there. I was getting jealous seeing everyone’s cars as well. I was stuck in final assembly and ready for transport for what felt like forever. It’s worth the wait once you actually see it in person and drive it

Would you mind sharing some interior shots with the cluster/navi displays? how does that ambient lighting work with the m-colored inlay?

I'm in the same position, had 1.9 when I placed the order on 1/15. Hope that works out for you, I already went with a differnet way to finance, I had already argued with the finance manager in Jan, I know that guy isn't going to do any favors, tried to feed me a bunch of BS then about how they won't lock in and how the interest rates weren't going to change. Just need the car to show up, going for an extra long cruise.

In early May, BMW extended rate locks to 120 days. Good luck getting January's rate in July.

As for your insurance, if what you say is the case, you should be listed as an "insured driver" on the policy. If not, it takes only a few minutes to add you, or get your own individual policy.

Thanks brother!! This spec is drool worthy,but I’m biased lol - I spent a few hours last night coding and only have pictures of the new cluster unfortunately! You can not change the colors on the illuminated M. They do have some hidden ambient colors in the menu. Red or pink are the best imo. Once they release coding for the G42 you “might” be able to do it in expert mode. But tbh I would have to remove that piece out of the door and see how it works/looks. I used the 3 series/M3 like everyone else. So I’ll try again once they update it.

I went into Final Assembly on 6/22 and stayed there for exactly 3 weeks. Went to Ready for Transport on 7/13 and have been there since. Tomorrow will be 4 weeks since my production and QC was completed.

Now I have been trying to figure out my shipping.. While I was sitting in Final Assembly the Glovis Spirit went from Veracruz on ~7/4 and reached Brunswick, GA (my port) this past weekend. So although unlikely, it is *possible* I was on that ship, but my tracking hasn't updated. A remote possibility, but I am holding out a little hope.

If not.. there is a ship that arrives in Veracruz late tomorrow (Morning Cello) that also makes port in Brunswick. In between those stops it hits Galveston, then back to Altamira, MX - which is actually situated closer to the BMW plant than Veracruz.

So with the more likely situation that I was not on the Glovis Spirit, I have 2 shots at making the next one.

The wait for shipping is far more trying than the wait for production.

I know that Stealership they low balled me on my completely built STi .I didn’t like the Salesman he was pushy and tred to sell me a used Cadi V sedan because they didn’t have any m240i available. I ended up ordering one through a competitor of theirs .
