Your genius wouldn't have access to this information. He may have emailed the NA distribution manager, but that sounds unlikely. I think he guessed at the time line.

Um logging into the my bmw garage to check the status of my car… compulsive behavior for a car not near production yet.

But the specs on the car have changed to the wrong specs. The CA verified that it was indeed a manual entered into the order, but now the app is showing an automatic. Anyone else have this happen?

Use the so called "F12" trick and you can see the actual list of build options code - search for 2MA, and make sure it is there.

Took delivery on Saturday, returned to dealer for CEL on Saturday, haha. After a month sitting at the port waiting for a replacement for a flat tire we finally got it and managed to drive it home and back to the dealer a few towns away only.

Car finally got off the Glovis in NJ today. 27 days on that god forsaken thing.

Final assembly often doesn't update to the couple steps ahead of it. Mine was there for over a month and CA said it had already been ready for transport for weeks.

There's methods to extracting the web page info either through Chrome or Safari web browsers.

In Final Assembly since 6/21/23. That's 60 freaking days. I did call BMW NA and was told the car is released to sales and awaiting a transport ship. On MYBMW still said final assembly, go figure.

I’m in status 160. I don’t get what the hold up is. I got excited because the build was completed in a week and it’s been sitting there since….. looking like an October/ November delivery for me

I know this is being repeated but I keep seeing people relying on the web tracker and NA/Genius to get updates. That is all well and good but its not the most accurate nor up-to-date information. You should be going to your CA and ask them to run a VIR aka Vehicle Information Report on your car. Ask them to send you pictures/screen shots of the results. This is the ONLY way to get the accurate and most up-to-date information on the status of your car.

Every CA can do this, dont let them be lazy, make excuses or give you generic info or tell you to check the tracker.

I am not trying to lecture, just trying to help everyone out.

Yes, I believe so. Started life as "F12", but essentially it is bringing up the Chrome "inspect" window and looking at the response for things like production week, options list, etc.
