Looks real nice. Also have a brooklyn grey with black wheels... love the black on grey look. Mind me asking where you sourced your black badges? Thx!

I fabricated a bracket to (temporarily) mount my front plate and get through inspection :-)

FWIW, I haven't searched too hard but if this isn't old news.... There are two threaded holes behind the lower front grille. With the right combination of hardware it wasn't hard to mount up a bracket! FWIW, this will only work if you don't have Dynamic Cruise Control, as I believe this is where a sensor would be mounted up.

I believe there is more than an ACC sensor there. It’s also the sensor for the start stop function and I think, the active braking sensor.

I think its only the ACC sensor in that location. ACC is the only feature my car is missing due to the chip shortage and that spot has 2 available screw holes.

Maybe UK packages differ from US. My US build has every option except for M door cards and wireless charger.

I think you’re misunderstanding. My car, like yours, doesn’t have acc. However, I have a sensor that yours doesn’t.
I think that’s the auto stop start sensor and auto braking sensor. Yours should have those features as standard.

I’m not misunderstanding. My car is fully loaded except for ACC. I have auto start stop. Maybe its used for auto braking and auto braking is regulatory required in the UK so its baked in to all UK cars?

Pretty sure auto braking and the stop start sensor is standard on US cars. If it’s not in that location (which the parts list suggest it is) then where is it?

I’m not sure that I have auto braking. When someone stops suddenly in front of me, I get the beeps and red indicators on my console, but I do not believe it applies brakes. If your car does in that scenario, then maybe the sensor is for auto braking? I have auto start stop which has started the engine when the car ahead of me begins moving forward, so that must use the camera.

I don’t have the camera so auto stop start doesn’t use that.
I also get the dash warnings. You’ll find your car does auto brake. Drive up to an object slowly. Your car will auto brake before it hits it.

Ah yes, now that you say that, sometimes when backing into my garage my car slams on my brakes because it thinks I am going to hit something. It must use the sensors in the bumpers.

I wouldn't play that game with the front plate. Had a Mass Trooper pull me over recently, because he thought I didn't have a front plate, when he saw that I had the front plate, he sent me on my way.

Haven't had anyone say anything to me yet. Sto'n'sho plate is in the trunk and ready to easily put on in case of scrutiny.

You weren't getting a pass with this guy even if it was in the trunk.
