Oil and diff oil change on M2 at 1200, not required on M340, but wouldn't hurt to change the oil (out of pocket).

I also got the Michelins and no clip.
I saw the car on the lot today, it finally arrived at the dealer. Woot woot 🙌 I actually saw three other M2s in the parking lot. Two had the Michelins and one had the Pirellis. None of the cars had clips, whether they were the blue calipers or red calipers. Delivery for me will be early next week though. Waiting on CO / title for car still. |

Status just changed to “in Transit”. SA says they should have the car Monday, hopefully Title/paperwork within a couple of days for pickup sometime later in the week. Was a bit of a delay since it was on the Glovis Sunrise and others on the same ship were already picked up at the same dealership last week.

Random/funny note: this is the 2nd most replied to thread on the G87 forum, only behind the "M2 Order" stickied post.

And my M2 is still in port. Al least folks searching for delivery info in the future will find a lot of great info here. The week 38-42 gang is 🔥

Mine as well. CA and Genius told me that the car has been released from the VPC and waiting for career assignment.

I'm still waiting for the certificate of origin to arrive. When I stopped by the dealer today I had them swap my summer tires (PS4S) for winter tires (Pilot Aplin 5) before I take delivery (in fact, the car hasn't even been through PDI - pre delivery inspection yet - where they check and enable everything). I purchased the winter package from Wheelsco and had those installed and I took the OEM wheels home (before I've even taken delivery but I did pay). A couple of pictures attached of my new car next to my old car, and the BMW techs trying to fit the wheels into my old car (they did fit). The Wheelsco wheels felt so much lighter than the OEM ones. The CA also told me that the M2 does not come with an M2 badged clip on the rear calipers. I'm not sure if I have been misunderstanding folks here, got confused as to what cars it applies to, or if the CA is mistaken, but what is the clip thing supposed to be for? I saw a truck full of SUVs pull up to the dealer to unload cars. I'm glad I'm over that hump, but in case it's useful for anyone else, they can't unload cars until a salesperson comes to observe and document each car unloaded off the truck. So if it's in transit overnight, it probably won't scan in until the business day when people are working. |

I can’t find any winter tires in the OEM sizes anywhere. Will have to go with all seasons.
Don’t want to buy any more rims. I already have M3 forged takeoffs for summer.

The forged ones are so much lighter, it almost makes me wonder about selling the OEM ones and buying forged ones for the summer. I'll probably just keep them though. Too much hassle at this point. baron95 I think you're right and you will be the one to close this thread down once your car finally arrives. I'll be here until then! |

GTS G510 Matt Graphite 19x9.5
https://wheelsco.ca/products/bmwm2g8...caa62af4&_ss=r *Listing is in $CAD, so it'll be cheaper in $USD when you go through checkout On the OEM wheels, they're 19" in the front and 20" in the rear, but for this winter package, they're 19" all around. |
