Mine just changed to 'in transit'. I guess this is really the home stretch now.

The flight is booked and parts are stacking up. Dec 12th can't come soon enough. The worst part is I go pay for it on Dec 6th and all I leave with is a temp tag. ![]()

I don't know yet, still haven't been able to take delivery of the car from the dealer. I won't be able to compare until the spring when the summer wheels/tires will go back on. I was impressed with the wheels and package for the price. Curious to drive on them though, and will have to see if I notice the same as you. |

This is true! Taking my Dad too! So that will be fun. Always wanted to order a vette and do a museum pickup. I think this will be just as fun if not better.

Mine should be at the dealer in NY today Will probably take a couple of days for title and prep and hopefully have it later this week. Temps should be close to 50 and not supposed to rain so I don’t have to worry about getting it home on summer tires.

Some have commented that they are more than just cosmetic but I’m not certain. The caliper definitely looks to be missing a piece it was designed to have, whether M branded or not. |

I thought my F22 228xi steering was on the light side, but then going into the G87, the G87 is just way light, even with the sport setting. Not sure if I like it or not yet but surely would find out next autocross season. Maybe the G87 won't give me blister like my 228 would. |

I am now a week in of ownership (technically tonight). I've put on a little over 100 miles and I still have a hair more than 1/2 a tank of gas left. I've been just driving around running errands with it for the most part. Took one extended drive and all in all its been really nice. I love having a sunroof again. The weather was in the mid 60s yesterday and it was nice to be able to open the sunroof for a little while on my way home. Wheels are still clean despite light rainy weather and no brake squeaks...at least not yet. Dodged a bullet today with CHIPS parked on the side of the road. Thankfully he put his radar gun down and was looking at something on his phone when I passed by. I don't think he even noticed me.

CA confirmed rear caliper clips were omitted starting 03/2023. Not sure if that's a build date or order date. They also confirmed that HAS alignment sheet is not required and was just the installer being nice. HAS installed cars have a sticker on the driver's side door jamb as a confirmation.

But I assume they did put the HAS adjustment tools in the trunk right?

Sorry for all the questions, but was the email from the dealer or BMW/VPC?
