She sounds like a cool woman. Keeper! We all need a little fun and lots of laughs in life. If anyone takes any thread too seriously on an internet forum, they need a reality check!

I got in... low 11's... at the onset of the covid crap...
got out a couple weeks back in the mid 15's...

into the mid 16's now.... oh well ;-)

I think it should probably settle below or near 20 once
they're able to set sail again... they've got the resources
to ride it out till early '21 or longer.

Nice entry! I'm averaged in around $15 right now, going to hold until vaccine news. Looking for a double.

Are you in any other type 'recovery' stocks?

I am also in: (all vaccine plays)

A good call on PLAY IMHO.

I've been trading this since the start of covid with a dollar variance each day. Originally got in at $12 and change but instead of holding I've been selling when it went higher and entered as it tailed off with bad news.

Regardless I think PLAY long term will recover especially on any good news about a vaccine when it'll fly!!

Yes, I sell off half my position when its up over 10% then wait for a dip, lol. They should have enough cash to survive. I took a ride over to the one in Tampa as I have over $10k in there and place was about half capacity. Still making money and more than 60% of locations are open across the country. Have to remember not all areas are as bad as FL or AZ for instance. A lot of people back to normal.

Looking for a triple in next year here.

I'm only in as a platinum member in their frequent cruiser program. Not a fan of the stock since Kevin Sheehan stepped down as CEO.....

It took me a long time, but I've read this entire thread. I admit I skimmed through much of the specific stock price replies, but there was a ton of useful info, so thank you all who contributed!

Anyone care to give me a critique on what i'm working with? I'll be collecting a pension in another 15 years (68-75% of my salary depending on how long I stay). I also started a 457b (it's like a 401k for gov't employees - my employer does not match anything). I contribute a few hundred / month to it and I have Nationwide manage it. They charge me 1% / year but the way I look at it they are probably 1% better at this stuff than I am so why not.

Here's where I may take a beating from you guys... Approximately 30% of my total investing is in cryptocurrencies. 70ish % of which is in Litecoin, Bitcoin and Ethereum - with about 30% in about a dozen different "alts". I've been in the crypto market about 5 years now and i'm just shy of doubling my total investment.

The way I see it, i've got a long way until I retire. I have a pension and a 457b that are quite safe (slow and steady wins the race?). Since I have a minimum 15-20 working years left I figured the high risk stuff like crypto may pay off. Time will tell. What do you guys think?

In most financial forums people would jump on you for this, but people are afraid of things that are new. Cryto hasn't been around for a long time and it is very risky, which is why people are scared of it. The thing is, it's here, and it's a very real thing people are making money off of. I know a handful of people who's made a fortune off crypto. Do what works for you. Don't let other people tell you what to do with your money.

What kind of return are you getting for that 1% you pay Nationwide? And what are the expense ratios of the funds they have you in? I would recommend a visit to the bogleheads.org wiki and get rid of Nationwide. My total expenses are 0.10% on my portfolio. Fees are the death of returns long term. And index investing beats 95% of all stock pickers over a 10 year period.

As for crypto, good luck to you. I would reduce your crypto exposure to 10% or less.

5 years and just shy of doubling it? lol

If you invested in a lot of tech around March you would've literally tripled your money if not more in less than 6 months.

And I won't even start the topic of options lol.

Just bought $100k of FZILX Fidelity zero fee international index fund. Needed to get back to 25% international equities.

I've got a bit of this too. Has been pretty stagnant over last few years, but will hold, of course.

I bought couple thousand shares of LCDX at $0.89. 😆 Let’s see how it goes. Few weeks ago it hit $6-7 I think.
