Checking on vesselfinder, marintraffic etc., I see the Glovis Champion is anchored outside Altamira, MX since yesterday morning.

I find the ship in the Port of Brunswick, GA schedule to arrive on 8/1 .. ~10 days from now. But looking at other ships the Altamira -> Brunswick trip takes ~4-5 days.

That said, I cannot find any other ports with this ship on its arrival schedule, or anything on its upcoming route or when it will depart for its next stop.

I wouldn't hold your breath, they don't prioritize anything, I ordered on 1/15 with an allocation a few days later. BMW has built and delivered numerous cars with the same feature as mine ordered long after mine, they don't care. At least my car is in NJ finally.

Another truck just got dropped off at my dealership, the driver says the port is completely full so we're going to be getting a ton of cars in soon. That kind of reinforces the idea that we'll see the cars next week because they're probably scrambling at the VPC to get cars out to make room for the cars that are just sitting on the boats waiting to get unloaded. That's my two cents at least, blindly grasping at straws here for hope lol

I have an M240 that was allocated in March that came into NY on the RCC Amsterdam. It just got delivered to The South Carolina Performance Center today. I’m picking it up 8/4. Timing is better for me to compete the paperwork this week so I just took care of that.

Luckily I have a usable car and had the mindset it was gong to take at least 5 months so I haven’t really been too stressed by the wait. But now that the car is sitting there, in my name, just waiting for me to actually pick it up I’m starting to feel the waiting pain a bit more.

Another update for the VPC folks: I logged into my system and had a shipment notification for my car, it says it's going to ship the 29th.

UPDATE: I found the Glovis Champion on the Altamira, MX arrival schedule. It appears from that, the Champion is anchored outside and still needs to come into port at Altamira to load (unload?)

Well that's solid affirmation lol what's the story with this shipment notification? haven't talked to me dealer today (not that he wants to talk to me), but just talked to one of the "less informed" Genius reps and she gave me nothing.

Not a clue, I literally logged on to the site before I left for lunch to check on the status and a lil notification popped up saying Scheduled Ship Date Notification and I clicked it and it had my car's vin and my name and the previous estimated date and the current date, which is the 29th. I'm accepting all info with an air of caution now though after the journey of delays that has been these 5 months lol

Exactly the same situation for me and I'm also in NJ. Only difference is I'm waiting on an M340i, but no one on the G20 forums seems to be paying attention to the Glovis Spirit . It has been such a frustrating process, but I'm happy it finally made it to the port. Did yours as well? Dealer has been trying to avoid talking finance with me because my application expired. I told her I don't know how that's my fault and why BMWFS sets arbitrary dates for the financing to expire if they can't produce the vehicle in the abritrary tiem frame. Still waiting to hear from the finance person at the dealership about what their "rep" from BMWFS says about honoring the deal we came to in January. This is for a lease btw. Did you have any issues with this?

I'm not leasing, buying, but I already argued with the Finance Manager on 1/15 when we did the purchase agreement, had them run financing. I was qualified for 1.9 for 60month. I wanted to secure the financing rate at the time, but they refused, said BMW wouldn't do it. I had to wait until the car arrived, at that time I was told the 1st week of March the car would be in. I made it clear that the interest rates were planned to go up, they still didn't budge, finance manager said rates weren't going to change I did have them write into the sales agreement that I did qualify at the time for 1.9. This doesn't obligate them.

A few posts above, someone did get lucky with BMW honoring the rate from the time of the order. I had already secured $$ through a different option, as I didn't plan on winning any arguements with the idiot finance manager and BMW who has provided nothing but lies.

Just spoke with Genius, because why not? Told me its scheduled to be picked up on a truck Wednesday 7/27, for delivery at the dealership Thursday 7/28.
