There’s some models I absolutely can’t stand and think are ugly. I never once considered buying one of those when I couldn’t get the actual one I loved and wanted. No one is going to spend $90,000 on something they think is ugly. That argument is just plain stupid.

I don't doubt some people like it. When I was a kid I thought the Astin Martin Loganda was a good looking car. Now I think not even Lexus could make anything that ugly. There will always be people who can't see fugly and don't understand what true art is.

A very subjective statement.

Most people I know that have seen the M3 in person actually like it. I personally think it looks awesome, and the performance, interior, tech is next level. The grille is functional for cooling and IMO makes the front end look that much more mean and aggressive.

To the people that haven't gotten over it yet I say keep on sleeping..

There are plenty of people who have changed their minds about the car after seeing it, but BMW's own research showed it that only 20% of people liked the design. This comes straight from Dukec. The assertion that nobody likes the look is ridiculous, but so is the one that the only people who dislike it are a portion of the BMW community who can't get over changes from BMW's traditional design approach.

The more negative things you say about upcoming M2 the more you become part of the marketing department for BMW. You will contribute to increased sales and supply and demand issues. Which will drive the price through the roof!! Because this is what I know for sure, the new M2 will be fantastic to look at and drive!! BMW will not screw it up!!

I’d personally take your M3 CS. The g80 has this “hey look at me” vibe and the color choice adds to that. The CS is elegant, refined, aggressive, muscular- it just flows and works.

The performance, technology and interior of the g80 is super attractive though for sure.

Ask 10 people that don’t know anything about M cars or give a crap about cars in general especially BMW what they think of the car and all 10 will say it’s awesome looking. Try it.
