I guess I'm in the minority. I think it looks decent. The back is kind of weird, but I think like the G8x, will look better in person.

It looks like a modernized e92 styling-wise with the exception of the rear. Was hoping there would be side vents on the front fenders, and i really wish bmw would get rid of the practice of putting the damn parting line on the hood so high. I understand there are pedestrian crash safety standards that will have influence on design, but it's doable. BMW is just being lazy here.

That rear is not good.

The leaked photo looks like it was candidly taken when they where prepping the vehicle for what was probably a third-party professional photo shoot.

Some rogue janitor probably snuck a pic(s) and uploaded it online.. BMW only have so much control over leaked images when vehicle still has to change so many hands before it is official reveal.

I would assume most companies do not intentionally or prematurely leak photos of their upcoming products because there are still current items they attempting to move and they wouldn't want any potential customer to hold out for the newer product, possible losing sales. So they would try to be strategic with each subsequent product, one would assume.

I really don't understand how people think the Camo version looked different than this. Based on those and the other photos we saw while back of the bumper this is pretty much what I was expecting.

I think overall it looks good, in particular in the 3/4 photo. The other photos are simply bad shots but it is what it is. Definitely a funky design with the exaggerated boxy elements but still nice. A little retro. I can't wait for the full release and hopefully seeing one in the wild soon.

I agree that the rear is the weak part of the design, I'm not offended by the squared bumper but those headlights are just too small for this design. Same is true for the regular 2 coupe. But than again the f87 back was bad too, we all got used to it but it's not def a beauty.

Not sure about this color, maybe it's one of those colors hard to photograph but I would like to see some nice greens on this new m2!

Not my preferred styling, but perhaps BMW has the data to prove these newer "edgier" designs sell better? Otherwise I don't know why there has been such a huge shift to this unusual design choices

Looks like it has poorly designed Chinese bumpers. Is it a requirement for new BMWs to not look good now? Don't like the square bumper shapes a few cars are doing now.

Im not seeing the headlight difference just the hood shut lines being different from the first pics to todays post in this thread.
