Last year I got Kawasaki . It's one of the COVID mutations (variants)
I'm OK . But I still feel it today . MKSixer got it too ...
Kawasaki hits our stomach and intestines . Couldn't eat for more than a week !
Couldn't move in my bed from the pain in my belly , it was like a torture and lost 5 kg in a single week ...
Got pain killers from my doctor , but they didn't worked !
Damn the virus and all the crazy mutations !!! I'm convinced It's made by man !

The vaccines won't work . That's what we can see over here ....
In a retirement home all the elderly people got their 2 vaccinations . And still there's a virus outbreak !
4 nurses and 31 residents from 80 are infected !

As for Romain, I suspect that you picked him out because of his miraculous survival from the initial impact & escape from the flames. I fail to see how this makes him more 'manly' than the rest of his generation of drivers, yes his fitness helped with his survival & escape & with flames licking his arse, what else would he or any other driver do...he's not the only driver to have escaped a burning car.

i dont want to get in the way of the conversation but...

in old times, drivers heads was sticking out from the car, almost all their body was exposed, they were in a car like a ticking bomb.. but in those days that was the technology.. i dont think if they had a chance they d risk their life that much now.. it was just the tech at that time Chappers..

if the "risk" is the ultimate real man definition.. bike racers should lead that group even today..but even they have some gear at track and their barriers etc. setup'ed for them.. except Isle of Man..

Exactly, they were all big balled, hairy chested, drinking, smoking, womanasing, gambling non pc MEN that raced as fast & hard as they could knowing that they stood a fair chance of dying, like I said 'real' men

I suspect in the early days of F1 from 46 up to the late 60's a lot of those guys would have had that 'devil may care' attitude from the war, would they risk their lives so nonchalantly if they raced nowadays, I suspect not....which is kinda my point, attitudes were different back then & as for the pre war 'gentlemen ' racing drivers.....they were in a different league
