I'm usually hugely critical of the brand. Hated at initial release, and still hate (albeit to a slightly lesser degree), the front end on the g80/g82, and stand by the fact that the new 7 is quite literally one of the ugliest cars (forget just BMW's), I have ever seen.
I really and truly believe that re the new 7 btw, it is absolutely hideous, and such a far cry from what the brand was founded on. Offensive almost. All that said, I think this car has promise. Reflectors are a little awkward, but not earth shattering. Just hope they offer some compelling interior color choices, and that it is priced to a reasonable basis.

I really really like the way this thing looks. It's almost like they designed the new 2-series coupe with the M2 in mind. The rear taillight look awkward and dowry on the regular 2, but they work nicely with the wider fenders. Also the side skirts look super cool. I bet that long hood that also looks out of place on the regular 2 will come alive on the M2. Can't wait to see the official photos!

Vomit all over the new 2. Looks like something out of a Japanese cartoon series.

The rear quarter panels and bumper are really giving me Gundam vibes.

Hard to completely tell, but not the best of BMW. The rear diffuser area looks really unfinished and doesn't seem to flow at all. That said, not too worried about the exterior as I already dislike the interior with the long, unfinished dash/screen and all touch. BMW making me 😥.

We get it, you don't like it. No need to re-iterate your opinion multiple times. Move on.

Don't care what this boomer has to say at all (regardless of his background). People post this often in an attempt to 'verify' their opinions (mostly F22 owners pissed they don't have an LSD, etc.).
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. 4/5 of the people I've shown the F22 & G42 preferred the G42 (and that's just the exterior, not even considering the interior & much improved performance). Oddly the G87 is looking worse with a nasty square front end. The rear is meh too, doesn't look much wider either. |
