My wife and I finally picked up her new M240 last week on 7/22. I apologize for the crappy picture; it's all I have at the moment.

Our loan draft check from PenFed was expiring on 7/25, so the dealer rushed to deposit the check on the 22nd. Thinking we had just made it a couple days before the check expired to keep our rate, PenFed informed us the date on the check was "incorrect" and had expired days earlier.

I've used PenFed for two previous loans, and after this terrible experience of them lying to us, I will never do business with them again.

I'm using penfed as well. My current loan app at 4.09 is expiring on 8/1 and I explained I'm waiting on delivery which is taking forever but their like "nope you have to reapply". They want their few extra APR points.

Finally took delivery Wednesday evening and I'd just like to say, wow! The car is an absolute delight and puts a smile on my face every single time I approach it and even more so when I drive it. Blew away my expectations in every single way - looks, feel, drive, sound, experience etc.

For those of you still waiting, not only is it worth it, it will be even better than expected. Keep in mind, I'm no expert in any of this, but my appreciation for what the m240i delivers as my new daily.. it doesn't get any better than this (for me).

Thats not good. Interest rates just went up too. Was your car one of the ones at the port or still currently in the build process? I ended up just submitting my check a week early because I didn't want to reapply with a higher interest rate. And hoped I didn't get any delays at the VPC or anywhere after that.

I've been in Final Assembly for a month. The dealer isn't willing to accept the check early and put the funds on my account so there's nothing I can do. I've accepted I'll get a higher rate.. I'll just refi when/if rates improve

Sorry about the financing issue. I guess you can retitle them now as PenFedUp.

But congrats anyway on the addition. Looks good next to the Sparkling Graphite E82. One of the best E82 colors next to Le Mans blue and Valencia orange.

Keep it if you can, because as I've said so often, they don't make them that light and fun anymore.

Just click the paper clip attach button. It opens a new tab. Click choose file. Select the photo from your photo album and click upload. Then you can close out of the tab and under the box in which you’re writing your reply you’ll see attached files. I’m on an iPad right now and this is my build.

Our rate was at 2.54% and the infuriating thing is that the draft check was deposited before the expiration date listed. I guess specified dates on official documents no longer mean anything.

Thanks as well! I do still really love the 135 and don't plan on getting rid of it. I agree on the colors; Valencia looks great on a 1M.
