Finally took delivery today! Its been a hectic day as I drove back across the state home. Also got the M Performance spoiler and black badging on. The following is my rough timeline:

Order Placed: 2-8-22
Allocation: Late March
Production Begins: 5-2-22
Production Completed: 5-4-22

Sat in Final Assembly for 5-6 weeks
At The Port: 6-17-22
On The RCC Amsterdam: 6-21-22
At The Port (NY): 7-5,6-22 (cant recall exactly which)

Sat At The Port a few weeks
In Transit: 7-28-22
At Dealership and Picked Up: 7-29-22

So finally the waits over. If any of you have IG feel free to follow me @drew_gti84 to keep in touch or just to see the progress of the car!

Thanks to all that have kept me sane during this time and I hope you all receive your cars ASAP!

Looks sharp. Digging the 50 Year emblems. They are definitely prominent on TN and complement it nicely.

Congratulations!! It looks awesome. I've got a similar spec. The rear spoiler looks great. I may add it to my car when it arrives.

Got my car today. This suspension is a MAJOR upgrade over my F30 on these garbage NY roads. I drove about 170 miles today and I'm so amazed. Those of you waiting are in for a real treat.

Here's my final timeline for those who are interested.

Spec’d at dealer - 4/30/22
Order received - UKD
Scheduled for production - 5/12
Production begins - 6/10
Exterior body assembly begins - 6/10
In the paint booth - 6/10
Entering assembly line - 6/10

They looking amazing guys!! Love all the different colors combos here. That Portimao Blue looks amazing Ron! It wasnt on my radar when I ordered but when I saw some photos of it I thought it looked amazing! Love the badging and spoiler RM84!

On 07/08 the code was 160.
Today I am informed that the code is 165 since 07/11.

Do you know what this code means for those who have received their car?
transit between factory and port or transit between Mexican port and European port? (a boat left veracruz on 07/19)

165 is Ready for Transport. So unless status is delayed (which it very well could be) it is waiting to be picked up from the factory or has been delivered from the factory to the port of origin (Veracruz or perhaps Altamira) and awaiting transfer to a ship

Before I begin I want to say that I am very happy for everyone who recently was able to pick up their cars. They all look great.

That having been said I am livid with BMW. I ordered my car April 20th (with allocation the same day) and sat in 112 for what seemed like forever. I was told the ZTK package was the reason for they delay and ultimately that my car couldn't be made because of supply chain/chip shortage blah blah blah. Eventually my car got switched to MY23.

Now I see cars getting delivered with the same package I wanted, that were ordered after I ordered mine.
WTF BMW?!!! I'm pissed and disillusioned at this entire process. For me $60k is a lot of money for a car, why is this such a horrible process?

Anyway, understand I'm not mad at anyone who got their cars recently. I am actually very happy for you and the cars look great. I wish you all best driving and enjoying your vehicles. I am just extremely frustrated that after 102 days and sitting in status 150 for over four weeks I seem no closer to driving my car.

I am in same boat and agreement. I spoke to dealer today and they said next weeks looks to be the week-yeah sure.
We discussed next steps and agreed if nothing at the end of next week I will cancel and get deposit back. So diss appointed that something that started out exciting has turned into a drag

Right there with you man, outside of it getting switched to a my23. I mean at least I don't think that's happened. Dealership can't be bothered to let me know what's going on.

At least some people got them and are enjoying them. Maybe someday we'll get a car.

Wondering if I have to worry about a MY23. I have my MY22 VIN and am in Final Assembly for 1 month.

I was in Order Received status on my MY22 when I was switched to MY23

I then went to Scheduled for Production and then received the VIN number

Now I have been in Production Begins status since June 28

I'm expecting this coming week we'll see some real movement on production. From what I read, a lot of July allocations are scheduled for this week, including mine which is scheduled for August 5. For reference, I placed my order mid June, had my VIN since June 25 and have been sitting in the production que since then. My original production date was for the July 15. I'm guessing that all the '22s pushed to '23 will be done the first half of next week.

For all of you upset that you ordered / placed an order in 2022 and still do not have yet, I just wanna say I placed my order in November of 2021 & had a production week of 13 before being randomly sent back to "Order Received" and production being moved to end of June.

My vehicles been in "Assembly In Progress" status since 6/30

Nothing we can do other then cancel or wait, so I'll just wait here and hope BMW does something decent to me for the wait.

You'd think a company like BMW would have their assembly process/statuses hammered down. It's odd how often weird back and forths and getting stuck in a status for eternity happens.
