So is the pricing guide for US officially released? I had reached out to my SA about 1 month ago and was told it was not available. I haven’t heard back yet since

Is this really an HEA car or a dealer order? Whoever spec'd this thing screwed up because they have the front splitter with the side curtains but didn't get the matching fins for the side skirts, so it looks like it's missing something in the rear IMO. That said, I honestly don't like any of the parts with exception to the air inlets. I wouldn't put them on my car if you gave them to me free of cost.

I suspect that the carbon fiber air inlets might look rough in 3+ years, even with PPF applied as that is a high impact area. One exception, the car is a garage queen.

It is an HEA car which the dealer let me add the carbon parts once they were available in the catalog for port install. As expected, they aren’t for everyone…

The sand blast effect, literally (especially here in South Florida). Is there any performance benefit to them?

What do you think if you had them clear coated?

So to recap:

With the carbon package I ended up having to get a few other external carbon bits to create a flow.

Cf inlets
HAS
Cf raised rear spoiler
Cf antenna
Floor mats
Roof rack
Decal(won't be port installed)

And now adding the mperf exhaust

It's going to look a little over the top, but as possibly my last new ice rwd manual I figured I'd make this car fun all the way around and the m3 more mature.
That roof rack will be loud and kill any potential touring-level gas mileage in the 6mt.

Gonna take it off immediately, and just put it back on when I need it.

OMG, an M car with a carbon fiber roof and a roofrack, I can't process that. It's like two worlds colliding. You gonna get mudflaps, too?

I kid, I kid. If you need it, you need it.

I take surf trips to San Diego, who knows what car I might want to take. I definitely will have it off unless it's actively being used.

I added the cf air inlets to my order today. Port installed, under warranty and will be shown on the sticker.

They will look good! Remind me of which exterior color that you have spec’ed?

Looking at some M performance parts but I’m scared ordering anything right now will get the car stuck at port for longer than it needs to be - specially if a part goes out of stock. I do want the interior trim in dry carbon. Currently have aluminum rhombicle anthracite trim spec’d on my build because I hate glossy/reflective materials inside the cabin.

I haul my mountain bikes up to the Rockies in the summer. God bless BMW for leaving the rack mounting points untouched with the carbon roof. Pictures will be posted once I get mine all setup.

Can someone clarify is there is an additional labor cost to port-installed M performance parts? I thought the price listed by BMW was all inclusive?

Thanks. My CA told me the M Performance matte carbon interior trim was not compatible with the manual gearbox, and that there was additional labor to the $1,400 charged for the parts. Kind of confused right now.

So with putting those 2 experiences together it seems your CA is seeing that the part is only available for autos at port, but they can still order it for you separately and charge you $1400 to install (the part itself should be cheaper than the port installed option though). This is just my guess though, there could be something else going on.
Yeah, dunno. I didn't want to miss the pre-production window since my slot is scheduled between now and May 14th, so I switched it over to glossy carbon. I was going with the aluminum rhombicle anthracite since I hate reflections in the cabin, but I think I'll just PPF the carbon matte.

You’re correct.

All Port options are labor inclusive. I had this conversation with my CA and SM a few weeks ago for confirmation.

Can anyone confirm if the "Flow Through Spoiler" (51-62-5-A63-C65) is available as Port Install and a code if so?

This one...

Not the answer I was hoping for, but thanks very much for confirming! I wonder if we will eventually see it on the list. Anybody know the reason for it not being available?
