Got the Strade Designs grills delivered today. They were well packed and seem pretty sturdy. It will take me a while to install since will wait for the air ducts to be delivered and remove the bumper only once.

Does it come with an installation guide? I saw there's a Youtube video showing you need to take the whole black center piece off but looks like it can be slid in just fine without doing so?

No install instructions included. I saw the Daily Downshift video too but since have to remove the bumper anyways, will wait to install them.

The Stradale looks much better to me because it goes behind those gloss black center pillar/ bars and looks OEM. The Zunsport covers the bars and looks very aftermarket to me. Coming from a bunch of Japanese cars, it looks like something on a modded JDM car.

For the US folks ordering the Zunsport grills, where are you ordering them from? Will Zunsport ship directly from their UK site? Or is there a trusted US partner? I think I'm going to order the oil cooler guard.

That’s the exact reason I ended up buying it from Stradale. I was looking to Zunsport but covering the “pillars” did not work for me. Hope it provides some protection…

Then again, they’re probably getting a huge profit margin on these, but it was still a nice surprise to get them so fast from across the pond. |

Fwiw - both side radiators on my car (auto) have a plastic grille on them. I installed the ZunSport grilles as extra protection. The center radiator obviously has no protection and mine already as more than a handful of rock stikes/damaged fins at 1,350 miles.

I examined the plastic grills when my radiator was out. You can easily spread the fins with your finger. Any rock strike will just slide the plastic grill to the side. I'm not even sure why it's there.

Just curious if any that brought any mesh/grills protectors has received a big hit or total damage of the grid. Mine (Stradale Design) has been just fine, no sign of any hits/damage.

I’m looking at the Zunspor center grilles and it says that they do not fit the manual transmission G87.. is that accurate? Anybody with MT install them?

In the US, there is no premium increase on a no fault comprehensive claim such as road debris. But you will still be out a deductible.

In the end we had to pay about double the premium for 3 years using an insurance company “of last resort”. |

Our only major damage this time is a severely traumatized cat that has gone to hide somewhere after meowing hysterically due to the noise. It seems hard to avoid the hail roulette here for more than 10 years or so now, even if consulting weather radar frequently on many summer days when storm watches and warnings are in effect. |
