What a day, beautiful weather to pick up the new car.

Ok it’s ‘only’ a 220i and not a m240 but it feels so much quicker and responsive than my F44 218i and I’m not even using 1/4 throttle! Just overall feels like a massive upgrade.



Got some plans for cosmetic mods from AutoID so will post things up as it progresses. For now though I’m over the moon with how it looks and drives.

Mine was less than 5 months ordered 18/03 delivered Monday 08/08

This has got to be the BEST picture taken I have seen here. Beautiful blend of lighting and shadows!!! And of course it being BG helps as well I totally agree with your sentiment regarding 220i/230i vs m240i; I ordered 230i only because I want a cute little luxury coupe!

Thanks! Very happy with my choice, just spent 3 days away on a short break, did around 270 miles and loved every minute of driving it.

Was wondering what people had experienced recently. My car is now at stage 155 (build complete).
Now I understand the car needs to be released to the port and get on a boat. How long has this taken for others? I'm hoping for a delivery by the end of September.

Mine was built 22nd June.
It arrived with the dealer last Tuesday, 9th August, took delivery today

Compared to the delivery week quoted when they eventually made the car, it was 2 weeks early.
The car was meant to be here for launch in Feb, I ordered in July 2021 so it’s not been a good experience overall. Once it’s left the factory the system is less vulnerable to delays, prior to build it’s a nightmare
