Depends on the lighting. It can look very silver. In person I feel its just a darker silver. On this video it looks more like siver:

Sort of, but not yet, it’s a bit complicated at this stage because the orders are all still too far away from beginning production.

Right now I can see each order and the store it’s assigned to, all of the packages/options, interior selection, and paint color except for individual.

With the individual orders it just says 490 special order paint, but doesn’t specify which color yet, that will be visible later on from my end.

We don't disagree. The M2 doesn't have a true program. My i4 was individual. I was able to get interior not offered in my region when most dealers said it wasn't possible.

Y'all are correct. I went by the dealership today and looked at cars both inside and outside with Skyscraper Grey. I do wish it was lighter and more metallic, but close enough. I placed an order for an M2 and optioned it exactly as I wanted. I have no idea when it will arrive. Thanks for the help.

Still a surprisingly low take-rate in my opinion.

this is my first post on this forum in over 12 years but happy to be back in the fam here. I ordered an individual Grigio Telesto M2 last week. But as a placeholder we had to use Alpine White until the order is accepted (at least that is how it was explained to me by my CA.) So there are probably many more 490's that aren't showing up yet. Btw, any threads here I should brush up on while I wait for the car?

They are slowly updating, now showing a total of 20 individuals out of 272 total for August allocation.

It shouldn’t take that long to update if the dealer is doing their job in a timely manner. Every time I submit a 490 request form, the order updates within 24 hours, and allocations came out two weeks ago, but I digress.
I just hope nobody gets stuck in 112 status wanting individual paint due to dealer laziness.

Do I need to check with my CA and ask him to do anything? Do you think mine is sitting in 112 status still because of something the CA hasn't done correctly? Thanks for the insights btw!

I wouldn’t jump to any conclusions, but I’d request a vehicle inquiry report which reflects 490 special order paint on your order.

Good news! They confirmed Voodoo Blue today. I should see my M2 in November / December. I'll post some pics as soon as I get my hands on it. I'm also browsing the add-on carbon fiber components, not sure if I should wait until it arrives and evaluate, or have them installed at the port. I'll browse through the forum and see what upgrades others have chosen from the factory.

If you aren’t dead set on the carbon being M performance you can find a lot more options at usually a reduced price from other vendors. I have used IND, AutoID, Stradale Design for carbon. Ordered a grill off bimmerplug but not received yet. Happy with all the other pieces so far.

If you're going with the red accent interior, you should round it off with the red brake calipers. Skyscraper is perfect for that.

Dude same- I put down deposit for 2025 slot and I’m torn between frozen grey and the purple. I was hoping for that darling eggplant color from the original speculation posts, the hue of this purple is a little too bright imo
