I don't know how strict it is in TX (I'm new to the state) but I haven't had a front plate on any of my cars (CA & AZ) for almost a decade.

Just checked and it is required. You could get up to a $200 fine if pulled over for it. Oof.

I have lived in Texas for 29 years. Never had a front plate.

Got one ticket. It was a fix it ticket. Zip tied the front plate to the car, took a picture, and submitted it to court and it was dismissed.

Same here, I was in Texas (Houston) for 6 years and never got pulled over for not having a front license plate.

I think it should be Dispatched from factory

At the port should be the port in our end. In transit should be after VPC and to the dealer

Based on the timelines posted it lags a bit and changes to in transit -> at port (when it gets to the US port) -> in transit (to dealership).

It should be dispatched from factory -> at port -> awaiting carrier assignment -> in transit -> at port -> in transit

Like what is the hold up? Too many cars? Too little cars that they want to batch it? Feel like we experiencing downside of the both.

It is literally 14 hrs away from the factory and it is going to take us 2 months for the transit time
