Need help! I recently got a set of wheels in the following spec and are looking for a good set up:
Front: 8.5 et 25 and Rear: 9.5 et 32

My car is currently lowered (pretty low see pic) wondering what kind of spacers should I put on. And I do not have the ztk package fender.

Also wondering if I get 245/275 tires can I lower the aspect ratio to 35 front and 30 rear? Given that the tire is wider now.

Haha you noticed. It's just a plastic tag. Trunk decoration 😁

Do you have xDrive? If so, you'll need 35 and 30 if you're going with 245 and 275.

The ZTK wheel specs are 8.5 et25 and 9.5 et35, so you're close to that. I had 13mm spacers all around for what I thought was a perfect fit, and the ZTK fender flares added about 4mm of fender width.

Not sure that helps any, but may give you a reference to work with. I have no idea what would be ideal for a car that's lowered.

Thanks for the input! ya guess i’ll have to play with it.

ya i have xdrive. i don’t see any reference to 35/30 in the forum for a tire set up. that’s why i was asking. not sure if it’s for any particular reason lol.

With xDrive you need to stay under 1% for the difference in circumference between front and back. You'll see below the OEM setup has a 0.8% difference, and your suggested setup has a 1.2% difference. You could run into transmission overheating issues, but then again you may go 200,000 miles w/o any issues. If you do have transmission issues and BMW notes the tire difference, it could be a warranty denial.

Then that's the calculator you want to use if BMW gives you grief.

So M240i owners can't go big 10" wide front, 11" wide rear wheels?

Was hoping to stuff 275 wide front & 305 wide rear tires...

Is this possible?

Depends on offset. Not much room to spare with 9.5 and 265 up front next to strut.

And if you have xDrive, need to be careful with circumference delta between front/back.

Overcast skies and dirty car, but this is my RWD 230i with 4mm Dinan spacers (up front only), on 19 inch staggered Supra wheels wrapped with Michelin PS4S 235/40 front, 265/40 rear. Pretty much flush with fenders front and rear, although a bit deceiving in these pictures. Still, I’m glad I have the TLG mud flaps.

Looking at 19 inch wheels. I currently have th ztk package. Seeing a deal on these wheels which front 9.5 + 22 and rear 10.5 et +35. What tire setup would optimal taking in consideration the xdrive. Also plans on lowering the car in eibach springs.

Why not just buy four of the 9.5's and run a square setup? Your xDrive will thank you for it.

If you want the 10.5 rears, then 255/35 and 295/30 will be about identical in diameter.

If you have the ZTK package then I'd run a square 265/35 et25 to et20. That's what I'm running and very happy with the looks/performance.

BTW, I recommended the 255 in your example to keep the circumference roughly the same with a wider rear on the 10.5.

Should have noted this recommendation is for a 9.5 19 all around.

Appreciate it! I wouldn’t have no issues lowering the car or needing to run spacers ?
