So, why did you go with 4.99 instead of 4.74?

I'd rather finance through BMWFS than a random credit union since I won't need to keep an account open there. It's $500 difference over 5 years which isn't nothing but it's not enough to outweigh the convenience.

Plus I'll either pay it off in a few years or refinance it to a lower rate when rates drop.

Feels good to have that out of the way, I’m sure. 10 days and counting.

Wise of your Center to offer the buy rate. I’m sure they get some kind of trunk money or atleast the F&I person for snagging another FS customer and your logic is sound.

You’ll get a nice 15% discount at the Performance Center store. They actually have some cool shit in there. Beyond the obvious Floor Mats, key chains and License Plate frames, they have some high quality gear and interesting “collectibles” like a 2002tii Lunch Box. It’s a way better offering than your typical center. I’ve picked up a couple of sweet jackets, t-shirts, Motorrad gear and random kitsch/junk I’ve yet to come across elsewhere. I’ve always received the Discount though, whether Riders Academy, Performance School or PCD, so no need to fill your trunk.

And your Spell Check is really odd.

Good to know, I'm sure we'll end up spending a bit too much money in the gift shop. We went to the BMW Welt in Munich in 2019 but that was before we owned one so we just ended up with a toy car model of an isetta. This time will be a bit different

Congrats! She is more than likely already in Greer with your delivery date less than two weeks away. Vehicles waiting to be delivered are typically stored in the blue area circled below.

Edit, re the PC gift shop. I was there last month and most of the items in there were BMW Motorrad related.

Can we get a little video of that? I’m sure it would help all of us through dark times.

Right, it's a screenshot of a spreadsheet, not an spreadsheet.

My timeline is not current:
6/5/23 111 Status Order Accepted at AG
6/9/23 112 Status Order scheduled for Production
6/23/23 150 Status Production Started
7/5/23 153 Status Assembly Started
7/6/23 154 Status Quality Check
7/7/23 155 Status Final Assembly

Timeline seems fast, hopefully it's not being slapped together like in a Yugo car factory.

Not sure why I got a bunch of blank dates in my column. Like a lot of other people, the status just jumped ahead multiple steps in one day. Nothing unusual there.

Your post https://g87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...79&postcount=7 had not intermediate dates. I can guess that it was 17 days to body shop and 1 day at the end to QC, but I don't know. Not a big deal in the scheme of things, but I like to be accurate.

If my finger counting holds up, those were a hella long 117 days between.

Ah, I see. Yeah, those "?" are just how I denoted the status skip. They should all be 4/19. I'll fix that.

I just noticed it says F82 instead of G87. Would you be willing to create a column that is the average of all the dates for each status?
