If your order is in before the EOP date; we should be good? Hopefully?

it won't matter when the order is in...if EOP is 9/22 then your car would have to be built before 10/1/22

All y'all must be calling the genius lol.. 24 in line ahead of me is a new record!

I still have the Parking Assistant Package on my build but that doesn't mean it's set in stone.

A backup camera is standard regardless of the park assist package. It's required by US law.

Has it been 100% confirmed that the parking package is being removed from the options list from here on out? I've seen where it was shown EOP for this month at one point, but i'm not sure if anyone's had official word from a rep or someone at BMW HQ has weighed in?

You can do it quite easily, actually.

You get the rearview camera and some sensors but, I think the parking assist package gives you the 360 surround camera and the assist programming that'll park the car for you, and reverse out for you. I don't care much for the auto-parking bits but, the 360 camera I definitely care for. Spending close to $60k for a car, pretty ridiculous that they can just remove features.

Like if I was one of those who bought the car and it showed up w/o power seats, or the touch screen? I would've left the car on the lot and had them try again.

I've been at the same status as you and we had the same production date; I just went to 165. I'm depending on you to figure out our east coast ship.
. Hopefully it is before October...

Yes, my status says “in transit”. I’m in the RCC America scheduled to arrive Baltimore 9/14. Anyone know how many days after that it should be at dealer?

---------------

I've dropped back from 112 to Order Received twice now. 6 Aug and 3 Sept. Then around the 3rd week of the month I go back to 112. I'm convinced there is a component shortage. But no one seems to know what it is. I agree with another poster here, it may be the Driver Assistance Package and/or the Drive Recorder. If BMW would be kind enough to share any kind of confirmation about what is driving this, we could make an informed decision to possibly delete from our builds. But nope.

I think RCC America will arrive in Baltimore sooner. It already arrived in Jacksonville much earlier (yesterday night) than expected and the unloading of cars in each port shouldnt take more than 1 day I guess before the ship moving onto the next port of destination.
So , can we expect it will arrive in Baltimore by the 9th Sept the latest? somebody knows the link with the estimated arrival dates for RCC America for all the ports on the East Coast ?

you Welcome ! From what I read in these forums until now, usually it seems that it clears the customs related work within 1 day and then it might take a couple more days to 1 week to reach your dealership ?

maybe other ones with a delivery experience in the US may provide a more accurate timeline, since I am on the Canadian side and also I myself didnt experience the delivery process yet .
Also try calling your dealership once it reaches the Baltimore port and maybe they will be able to provide you with the almost exact ETA to the dealership.

Hello everyone,

I have a 2023 BMW M240i on order, and it just went from "Ready for Transport" (Last week), and skipped all the way to "In Transit" to the dealership today.

Great news and hopefully comforting for any of you that have a similar status.

Can't wait to finally get it!!
