I agree Llarry. John was an exceptional bass player and the only band member with any formal musical training.

Here's one that really shows off his bass work, and the talent of the rest of the group as well. Great 3-piece band and great frontman.

The Who - The Real Me

Gotta say Keith's drum work in this song is also very good. Him and John were an awesome rhythm section.

Also worth mentioning John arranged and plays the horns in this song, as well as the whole album.
