No, but I knew I wasn't going to be, so I wasn't surprised either. Actually, that isn't entirely true - I was surprised there was no change to the capital gains inclusion rate and no wealth tax. Though there is the luxury tax, so they're sort of getting partially there.

The Halifax Airport parking garage has a sign as you enter that displays how many empty parking spaces are on each level.

I've seen this setup at different airports including Atlanta and I don't trust them. I don't know how many times I've seen the sign indicate there is supposed to be about 100 spaces available and I can't find but a few or even none! Lol. I think airport personnel forget to refill the blinker fluid.

Thankfully Halifax Airport is small and not terribly busy. I have never even really looked at that sign because the garage is never close to full. When I'm flying myself I leave my car home and take a cab so I don't have to even think about it. It's especially nice when you get home and just walk out and hop in a cab and he takes you home. I'm always exhausted after a flight, I don't sleep on planes.

Yeah I totally get it. I feel the same sometimes. On the other hand, back in the day when we were allowed to travel, I would sometimes love to get back into my own car after having a shitty rental during a business trip. It's like being in heaven!
