Yup. Landed at port Wed. CA said scheduled for a truck to depart the 25th following port installed options including HAS then 2 days to dealership. Seems like an optimistic time line honestly but cool if he's right.

Can port work orders and trucks be expedited by dealer? My CA had no details for me on arrival

I just squeaked in for PC delivery in late August
Got my date - October 19th . My build date was August 22nd, hit Brunswick last week. Backlog at the PC created the next wait. All thing considered - no complaints

I think it's a good idea imo. I'm planning on doing the whole front, rockets, mirrors, and the CF roof. Maybe look into doing your mirrors regardless if you change them or not, you can preserve scratching on the carbon.

I am tempted to do the whole car but probably unnecessary. Ceramic is a great choice to couple it to get that nice and shiny 1 color across the whole car. Not to mention it's great for cleaning!

I did full stealth Expel PPF, but had I not done stealth, I probably would have done full front, cf roof, and rockers. I bet these wide hips are going to pick up a lot of rocks, especially after you space out the wheels.

I had never considered doing PPF on my carbon mirrors or roof, anyone have any insight on that? I wasn’t planning on doing PPF at all but a repair on carbon is probably a disaster.

Maybe G80/82 forum would have more discussion on it?

I did the roof and stock mirror caps. It woll help protect the roof just as it would any other part of the car.

Yup doing ppf full front and CF roof. Then ceramic coating full thing. May look at adding side rockers to ppf as well. There was just such a large delta between the front and full car. Getting dropped off same day as delivery..

The cf roof chips just as easy as the bumpers from rocks, road debris etc. I have a 103k mile f80 that I daily 100 miles a day and the chips on the CF roof are visible

It was 5k more than my spec with stuff I didn't really need and it didn't have the same wheels so I passed. He said I should have my car in 3-4 weeks and it hasn't even hit production yet. I'm like "oh ok". 8-10 weeks minimum seems a little more likely. I don't mind the wait to save money and get what I want.
Haha nice, there was a carbon pack car that came in the day before mine and my CA got all excited and told me my car had arrived but when he sent the pics it was the wrong spec lol. Luckily my car came in the next day. First time buying from United BMW, had my 135i serviced there many times and their service center was great. Happy to say their sales team is at least as good.

Yeah I think I saw that listing as well and was like what they heck is on that car for 75K but now that you say carbon pack that makes sense. I've bought from Gwinnett, Roswell, and Athens and all have been a great experience. I'm closest to Roswell so I get all my service there and usually buy from there as well. Post up some pics of your ride!

That's fairly normal. Mine is still awaiting transport but showing up on the dealer site. It also says MSRP is $89k which is a little high.

Picking her up, first thing my son did was walk over the drivers seat in his dirty shoes lol.

Tucked in nice and tight at home
