For M Shadowline lights, anyone can point out the difference?

Also adaptive Full LED headlights vs standard?
I'm getting the M shadow line lights as it seems like the only way to get the black exhaust tips. I would like to know if the adaptive LEDs are anything else besides the lights point in the direction of where you're steering or are the LEDS themselves actually different? Like are they more powerful than the regular ones and do they appear any different?
Looks like if it's same as Canada spec of the lights, mainly is the curvy DRL difference.

There is an M2 in Woodcliff NJ with m carbon bucket seats and carbon roof, good sign I'd say

Does anyone know how these lights compare in output and features to the G8x and F8x Adaptive Icon lights?

The base M4 is $12,500 more than the base M2

I’m curious what options are included in that price. Like the carbon roof is no charge for the M4 right?

Yes but the only wheels that arent a big upcharge look like ass. So the options split goes both ways

Anyone know if this is same for US? Specifically, with base lights you only get the one lower LED strip vs. the full curved panel?

Does this TR press car have shadowline? The eyebrows look silver, but the car looks like it has black exhaust tips. https://www.caranddriver.com/photos/...lery/?slide=11

My hunch is that since the build your car/order ain’t available on the dealer side either, the dealer starts with a fully loaded (since this option is available) car and then you’re supposed to reduce the order back to what you want. It’s easy to miss a $200 extra on a $70k car. I just took off mine.

I had this thought as well. I want to see the difference as I'm not too worried about black tips as I'm changing the exhaust anyway but it's probably more cost restrictive to change the lights after the fact plus the lights are small.

Is it really that bad? I asked about this and the sales rep said they have it on a 440 and it works great. I have an iPhone so I'd love to just pop it on there and not worry

Wireless charging is awful. Charges slowly and just overheats the phone like everyone is saying. Convenient yes but poorly executed.

I've always had this hunch that wireless charging is detrimental to a phones battery health too...but that's a different story.

Also, the flier that was at the PC this weekend didn't list buckets as a separate option. Hopefully we'll know soon but all signs point to buckets only being available as part of the carbon pack so far.
Based off what we know from this flier and others' order forms, we can put together a preliminary pricing guide:

- Shadowline Pack: $300
- Lighting Pack: $650
- Carbon Pack: $9900 (allegedly)
- Bicolor Rims: $0
- Carbon Roof: $2600
- 50 Jahre Emblems: $200
- Heated Steering Wheel :$200
- Remote Start: $300
- Carbon Trim: $800
- ACC: $550
- Live Cockpit Pro: $1100
- Parking Assistant: $200
- Wireless Charger: $200
- M Drivers Pack: $2500
- 5G eSIM: $300
- Metallic Paint: $650

One thing I think many should note is: this flier doesn't show buckets as standalone, only in the carbon package. My understanding is that if you want buckets, you'll have to shell out close to $10k extra.

Which, I guess, for a lot of you won't be a big issue since trim/roof also are on your lists, but seems like a sneaky way to force you to spend $2500 extra to get the M driver's package.

ALUMINUM RHOMBICLE ANTHRACITE Trim - $150

This is interesting since that trim is NC for G80 whereas the NC piano black option for G87 is a $1,080 option for the G80...

Lastly I believe the lightning pack requires shadowline.

Is ACC the only way to fill the massive gap in the lower center open part of the bumper with the diagonal lines?

Yes and it requires the automatic transmission.

You can still get parking assist with the manual, it's on my order.

What does parking assist do? PDC is standard on front and rear right? Does parking assist just back the car up for you? If so, I'd rather do it myself. If it adds a front camera though, that may be useful for curbs.

That is the million dollar question until the ordering guide is released. PDC is standard and so is the rearview camera given that it is federally mandated by US DOT. For $200 it cannot be much. Once we learn what it is, it actually might be worth deleting from current builds. BTW, It could add side view?

My guess is that it will add backup assistant and/or self parking.

Backup assist would be easy to do with the manual transmission. Self park would be more difficult, maybe the car would prompt directions on the screen to say now reverse now engage 1st etc.?
