Watched the Cap/Flyer game last night (was in DC anyway).

Hate to say it...but that game could be that proverbial straw. It's a hard uphill climb any way you look.

Pens season lies in a back to back with CBJ tonight and Saturday. 8 point swing on getting two victories. Pens win both, we're up 10 points on CBJ...we lose both, they're down 6.

One thing that Douche-ane and Kovelchuk have in common is that both can totally kill any decent team.

Reference for the statement: Colorado, Atlanta, Ottawa, Jersey, LA. None have been better with them.

Playoffs getting close! Only 10 games to go. The East playoff picture starting to come into focus. I think Philly is a little too far out to be in it anymore, so 9 teams for 8 spots.

NHL needs to start updating their standings with who's eliminated, clinched, etc. Det, Ott, and NJ are mathematically out, I think.

NYR and Buffalo also mathematically out.

FLA and Phil all but out now.

Anyone know who has the tie breaker on Cbus and Montreal? It would be incredible if Cbus missed the playoffs after all of those deadline day acquisitions!!

No picks for them for the draft (basically) and everyone leaving via free agency! From consistent playoff team to rebuild in a month!
