Maybe this option is only standard on the xdrive models?

It's listed as a standard option on my current order.

Adaptive M Suspension is different than the Adaptive Driving Mode. Either it's gone or it's in a menu somewhere now.

Did you get the parking assistant plus with your car? 360 camera, auto park? I've heard they are not adding it anymore. It's still on my order and I hope I get it.

My car is pretty basic. Only added park assist plus package and a few other small things. Maybe its part of another package?

I really hope this is true… in Canada the only way to get it is if you order the M Track Package and on the 2023 order guide it's not listed. I hope it magically gets added to my car.

Ooow no… that’s the thing I hate most on the new design. Personally think it looks horrible (just like Audi)
But funny (and a good thing) how everybody’s taste differs. :-)

absolutely! i'm the kind of person that loves to see change, and will not hesitate to acclimate to it. of course once i hit 60-70 (38 now), i'll probably get tired of changes.

I am very glad that BMW forced me to have idrive 8.
If I had a choice I would pick idrive 7 because of the looks, but I know that from the technical point of view id8 will be better and will be developed with new features.

What shifter? There are just buttons now.

Sorry me coming from a manual I'm glad I still have something to rest my hand on. Yeah I know I would have gotten used to not having it but I do prefer 2022 layout more.

You bring up something I never thought about. I always drive with one hand on the wheel and and my other hand resting on the shifter knob in my 228i Gran Coupe bc I drove in manual mode and shift with the knob. Now where am I going to rest my hand… I guess now I have to use the paddles so I need both hands on the wheel or I might put my hand where you close the door from, the big leather wrapped handle.

You’re supposed to rest your hands on the wheel. Resting it on a manual shifter is a big no-no anyway.
