Porsche 10 years ago perhaps used to tick the same box that BMW M2 ticks today. new 911 is very expensive car, not offering anything new really except looking a little prettier. Still tiny useless seats in the back as in my car which is 15 year old design. how the heck! Last edited by Tallest; 09-26-2022 at 09:48 AM.. |

They are GREAT cars, and honestly would love to own one. But it's truly apples vs oranges, not to mention $$$ wise, they're on a completely different level. What a lot of people don't understand is that BMW still makes fun STREET cars (the manual transmission is a must for me in that regards). P.S. To be honest, my Porsche of choice is a 718 Spyder, and not even any type of 992.

There's not a single confirmation that the leaked pics are the final product. Gun to the head I'd say the wrapped version is the final product, but that's just my opinion.

This has to be the ugliest out of ANY M car that has ever been created.
What a shame on bmw's design dept...they went from a beautiful generation to what will be remembered as the ugliest of all... Really hope the people in Munich are reading this posts about all their designs |

Surprised this thread is still going. Admins usually ban/flag/delete users/posts if its not favorable to BMW. Certainly happened when the G8X launched...
Not really sure what BMW is thinking with their recent designs. Its like they have two completely different department designing some of the cars that don't relate to each other. I knew the M2 wasn't going to be a looker but man this was still a shock for me when it came to the rear end.

The 992 is huge, even diehard Porsche collector, comedian Jerry Seinfeld has repeatedly stated on Spike’s Car Radio that the car is BIG! Jerry has also stated that he dailies his 718 Spyder which he also mentioned that it was developed in the GT department. |

Not bad…… thankfully that ridiculously huge grill is gone. Rear looks weird…… too much space between tail lights.

My money is that the M performance exhaust + new bumper can't look any worse than the stock G87 one... So it might sell well unlike the weird exhaust layout on the G80 Mperformance thing.
