drove with the window down today as it got warmer and the clicking is most definitely present, i can only describe it as the sound the exhaust heat shield makes on older cars as it cools down after a hard run

The gap with new wheels fitted has driven me mad, didn't notice it with the 898m's and the continental p-zeros as I think the Michelins has a more curved/lower profile wall from what i understand so it looks like the gap is larger.

Car is booked to have the Eibach Pro's fitted Monday with a Hunter 4 wheel aligmnment booked for Tuesday

I know I will, had coilovers on my E46, just would have preferred to keep it standard for the warranty side of things.

I have the Eibachs and as well as improving the stance, there is noticeably less roll with no reduction in ride quality. I don't have any issues with scraping on speedbumps, so it seems like a good solution.

That said, once there is more choice for coilovers that works with the EDC, I'll be swapping.

Can you post a picture of the front? Interested to see the colour and does it match the original dash? You know how fussy I am about that sort of thing 😄

I was thinking an oscillating tool may be easier to control and you could put a piece of masking tape on the blade to give you a depth gauge?

Might give that a try when I get round to ordering mine 👍

Eibach Pro's fitted and Hunter 4 wheel Alignment dont today.

My initial thoughts:

Speed bumps are not a problem I deliberately drove over our worst street locally and absolutely no problems.

Ride in comfort is absolutely no different at all in ride comfort.

In sport its possible ever so slight more bouncy over little bumps but its very 'slightly' and might be just me looking for something.

On the other hand I can agree it most definitely helps with the swaying boaty feel on corners, especially bumpy ones, i was shocked how much it improves it tbh. Dont get me wrong its not track ready by any means but for everyday 'spirited' driving its a big improvement. EDIT: after further driving its a vast improvement tbh

(My E46 on coilovers is miles better road holding, but then my teeth are still in my skull so its swings and round abouts)

Heres the before and after measurements if anyone is interested

I'm going to check them again in 2 weeks to see if there is much in the way of 'settling'
