Title corrected.
I will see if I can implement your suggestion. Edit: Done

What status code is “assembly in progress” I don’t see a designated code for that one. And it’s implications?

It looks like mine went into production today and I got my VIN. Does this mean my car is 4 weeks ahead of the original schedule?
At some point between last night and lunch time today mine jumped from "Production begins" to "Entering assembly line"

Recently they have been running approximately two weeks ahead of schedule. You were originally scheduled for week 30, July 24th -30th?

Sounds similar to my allocation. Originally a week 27, pushed back 2x to week 28 then week 30, and then moved back up to Production Begins on 7/5.

MY24 production is scheduled to begin with week 32. It will be interesting to see if it holds true or moves to being two weeks sooner.

Stopped in at my dealer today so my wife could drive an X3. Asked my CA to run the VIR and it's at status 160, released to sales/distribution. He estimated it would be at the dealship by the end of the month or first week of August.

Pretty excited since the website has shown it in final assembly since Monday.

There were also easily 30 people on the waiting list from the quick glance I had.

160 is ready for transport, meaning its built and waiting for a carrier to take it to the port. If all goes well, and quickly, it would need to get to the port and on a ship by this coming Friday (next ship leaves on July 14). If it makes it on that ship, then end of July or beginning of August would be a possibility. Any delays from this would be waiting for the next ship which leaves on July 31. That would be delivery after mid August.

Is there a “totaled” status? Probably should track how many days after deliver that occurs.

Since the cars travel by train to the ports, and the status 182, 190, 193 & 195 all are logged on the same day, I'm wondering how this actually happens. Not in one day. I think they are taken to the port and queued for a ship over some period after 160, but those individual movements are not logged on "my garage" for some reason. Then when the car gets on the ship and departs all those boxes are checked. Curious if anyone actually knows. Just a few cars and one RoRo at the Lazaro Cardenas port!:

Yeah, unfortunately I just dont think all stages are updated accurately or timely.

Doesn't matter much except for us checking three times a day!

We’ve been speculating on this for months. What my SM told me was that the plant at SLP just doesn’t update the trackers often or at all for some stages. Of course, I knew that already. Nothing from RFT until In Transit has happened for any of us. Those later stages all update over the course of a few hours ONCE the vehicle is already on the boat. It makes that last month agony.

You West Coast heads go by Train but Veracruz is done by Truck.

As I can attest, you forget all that trauma immediately upon driving away from the Center.

Until then, sucks to be you. Luckily, you’ll be me very soon.
