Blue I think, but you could make an argument that red works if you lean into it since the tails and reflectors are already red. I kind of worry about a McDonald’s vibe though.

Thank you! That is what I went with. Should I be concerned that the image shown in My Garage is not accurate? I went with silver wheels and carbon roof.

You can play around online but best to go to the dealership, have them do it and give you the build sheet. Once you get an allocation, you will have a VIR (Vehicle Information Report).

Hey folks, new to the forum but super excited to share that I got an allocation for a 2025 BG M2 at MSRP!

To be honest, I think I got very lucky. I only started talking to dealerships around the SF Bay Area earlier this week, and put myself on a bunch of waitlists. Got a call today that I got an allocation, so I rushed over to pay the deposit and got my production number.

On my VIR, there's something on the top right that says "Assigned to" and it looks like "W - 36 - xxxxx" - Is this (week 36) my build week?

I was first on the list at my dealership and they had 4 allocations on July 3rd.
7/3/24: Order sent
7/5/24: Received Product #
7/6/24: Received Order Received Email from BMW
7/11/24: In Production/Production Begins Status
7/25/24: Entering Assembly Line Status

I'm very excited to receive my M2, but my house is under construction and I might not have access to my garage until October/November. Looks like I'm going to have to come up with a Plan B to keep it safe and out of the elements. Not a bad problem to have though.

Wow that's incredibly quick from receiving the allocation to production start. I got my production # yesterday, but the BMW Genius line said that the "build complete" week would be Sep 15-21.

Definitely not a bad problem to have

I was told the same thing by my dealer. Originally had a early September allocation. When I switched to individual it got bumped to October. Color is confirmed and have production number, just waiting for it to be scheduled.

Just FYI, the system doesn’t display a start of production week, it only displays the week in which production will be completed.

If your order is truly a week 32 production, it would have already begun by now.

If your order has not yet begun production, I’d consider that your CA might not know what they’re talking about.

Yes that number started climbing about two weeks after the first allocation was released, not sure why so many dealers were dragging their feet submitting the request forms, but it ended up at around 70-80 or so.

Now, a second allocation has been released, forms have been submitted in a much more timely manner this time as the total number exceeded 150 within a couple days of the most recent allocation.

gondolafanclub I just realized you may have been asking about individual orders which have gone into status 111 with a confirmed production week.
That number is still 3 from what I can see.

No, as long as you’re sure that the individual request form was submitted, and the order then went to status 105, then there’s nothing else the dealer can do but wait.

If you aren’t confident that the individual paint was applied to the order and switched to status 105, just ask for a current vehicle inquiry report, it will show those details.
