If your production date says week 39, that's when the car is expected to be completed and not when it will start production, so hopefully next week will be already built.
But keep in mind, usually the online updates might be behind the real life statuses of your car.

Apparently it takes 2-3 days to build one.
The updates I have from my dealer.
So when production is done it should heve status 153?
In the app I have "delivery underway".

I didn't look at the website yesterday at all, and from Saturday being Entered production at 150 to Entering assembly line at 153 today when I just checked, once it hits 155 it's done being assembled. I also have the same "delivery underway" on the app.

I did opt for the ZPK package and it's still showing it on the F12 trick as being part of the build.

I am not sure but I guess it should be code 155. But sometimes codes are being skipped and you can advance more than 1 per update, so for example in my case I ended up directly at 160 "handed over to courier".

For you and us ( canada) is the same I believe, in myBMW you will only see this status from the day you car got a VIN until you pick it up. For example in my case I am now in transit as far as I know and the status still shows "delivery underway" unchanged since I got a VIN and registered my car in the app.

P.S: USA customers can really track their cars via the my BMW Garage website unlike us.

That's weird that yours says that. My car just landed at the local port this morning (status At the port) and my BMW app also says delivery underway.

It says it as soon as you're in production. It's pretty much meaningless

Yes I learned also many things.
Right now I'm trying to find out why someone in BMW thought that M240i is not M Performance model.
I have just few days to turn it aroud or I can drop my order, make a new one and wait to see if all the options will be on the new production model.

Yes, Route 6 (a/k/a Bear Mountain Bridge Road). A great, scenic, sometimes harrowing road mere feet from a precipitous cliff overlooking the Hudson River. Well the car was supposed to be at the dealership today but after talking to Genius I was informed the car hasn’t been released to the carrier yet and is still at the vehicle processing center. Guess I gotta wait a little longer
