The finish and craftsmanship are top notch. I will try to weigh them but I'm told around 23 lbs for the 20s and 21lbs for the 19s.

I should have them mounted end of this week once I finish ceramic coating them.
Nice. Looking forward to seeing them mounted on the car. Did you ever end up getting the XHP tune going?

I did. Not overly impressed with it for my use. I can see the advantage for high HP cars, but for my use it isn't worth the $$$. Just some quirky shifting at times under light acceleration. Moderate to WOT shifts are fine and it's lightning quick in manual mode. Their customer service wasn't super helpful either. Probably would have been better off with the other trans flash for about half the $$$.

Yeah, higher hp tuned cars will benefit the most from MHD & XHP trans tunes.

Can’t wait to see them on the car; this is what I was going to order in Bronze or Gold.

How long did it take for them to come in?

He quotes approx 90 days for most finishes if shipped by Chinese Junk. A bit longer for the brushed finish. I guess there is the possibly of the Wright Brothers flying them over
but he says not many people choose it as it tends to be "volatile."

It was my understanding the timeline starts at order, but it actually starts once the renderings are approved. I also had a two week shipping delay and slow ass Customs to deal with. Here is my timeline:

Ordered 3/20
Renderings done 3/28
Order submitted
Arrived port 7/10
Left port via UPS 7/16
Arrived to house 7/22

Total 122 days or 4 months and 2 days from the date I ordered. He counts it as 114 days. So take out the 14 day shipping delay and you are at 100/108 days depending on how you count it. I think the renderings could be done much quicker than 8 days.

With that said, they appear to be a very high quality wheel for a very fair price. I know the guys over on the Alfa Romeo forum rave about them which I believe is where he got his start.

Would I order them again? Yes. They did take a long time but 14 days of that was a shipping fluke out of his control and another 6 days waiting to clear Customs.

If he gets the rendering time shortened he'll be right in that 90-100 day window for brushed finishes and even less for non-brushed.

If you don't mind a 3 month wait I'd definitely order from him.

Good things are worth waiting for, but my custom VT Forged wheels were 60 days from deposit to delivery.

I can confirm with VT Forged I received the renders the following day after confirming specs. Still waiting on them as I only placed the order this month but have been very happy with service provided.

Same - Andy (VT Forged) was really helpful with my million questions. My wheels should be complete this week or next, can't wait (though it will be a few weeks for shipping).

Same. We exchanged about 20 emails over a couple days as well as a phone call to answer all of my questions. I placed the order at the start of the month so I still got a bit. Once they arrive will set appointment for HAS install, CSL grills (please fit), BFI shift knob/boot and wheels. Can’t wait as I already love the car.

Went to my dealer to see the G87 I had ordered back in December but ended up cancelling in favor of a G80 CS.

BSM, Manual, Cognac leather, sunroof, debadge. The plan was also to have the wheels painted in Porsche Neodyme.

I was willing to wait 90 to 100 days especially for the price and the time of year. Part of the delay was his taking 8 days to get the renderings done, the rest was out of his control.

Thanks for the feedback. I don’t mind the wait for the rims (knowing that I won’t get them in time for this season is a bummer, but no big deal).

Looking forward to seeing them on your car and it’s good to hear that his wheels are top notch. Can’t really beat the price and weight.

These have some pretty thick "spokes". I think his Chiara ones are close to 2 lb lighter. That's the style most go with here from various manufacturers . I wanted something a bit different but yet easy to clean.

+1 Andy at VT was super responsive and helpful. Renders were delivered 1-2 days after finalizing order. I'll have to go back and look but I don't think I ever reached the full 60 days door to door, it ended up being less. Great quality, look and service. And very hard to beat the pricing.
