yeah but i needed to use the drill bit to get all the way through, the groove i created with the cutting wheel (80% deep) kept it in the right place though as that thing wants to go everywhere lol

Ahh - did you get the cutting bits also? I thought I had a few of these but can't put my hand to them. I will be putting together the order this weekend and wondered if they would be any use. In the past I have used an old steel rule double sided taped to the cutting line to keep me true.
Also, was the Dremel battery or mains powered? I have both but the mains one is buried somewhere (probably with the bits) and I cant be arsed digging if I don't need to!

The more I see these wheels, the more I think they'd look great with the Cerium grey accents on my car...

Bad news and good news

The carbon fibre laquer seems to be failing on the wing mirror covers,

the good news is Auto ID have authorised replacements without hesitation, bad news I have to remove it

and then i have to get them ppf'd again.

I have bought a couple sets of mirror caps, all have gone back none have fit quite right. How were the auto id fitment wise? I can't wrap my head around 2k plus for the oems.

bad news, I have to put the oem covers back on whilst i return them and then put the new ones back on later, so thats another 4 attempts to break my mirror glass

Why not have them Charge you for a 2nd set of covers, as a deposit, while you swap them once with new ones and then send back the defective set and then refund you when they receive them?

Ever since I got the Eventuri CF Intake I have been looking for a good engine cover to match, the only one I could find was the Dinan one with the Dinan logo under the laquer so couldnt be removed, so that was out. I gave up looking for one then as soon as I did one popped up on ebay without even looking for it

I got it from HG Motorsport it was advertised as 3 and 4 series but as the part numbers for the oem ones matched i took a punt and it fits perfect

So I have matching engine bling at last

Wow, this is really good. I've never liked the Dinan one either. Are the graphics under the lacquer?
