[QUOTE=Newgenbimmer;31428259]Not 100 percent sure as I am installing this weekend. Its possible that the black tie in brackets that sit on each strut tower may require some trimming.

It was a very easy Install and actually could have been completed faster but modding is supposed to be enjoyable! The only item to be mindful of is the center bracket and arms will require the Downstar hardware on either side to be removed for clean access.

Updated the front end for Bimmer Invasion LA! My car and I will be at the Edelweiss booth if you want to pop by and see it in person or say hello.

Alpha N Carbon grill, MHC carbon center trim. Changed out the MHC front lip because it started to be too much carbon and the weaves didn’t match up well with the center trim. Went for a gloss black splitter from…. Wait for it…. eBay! Saw too many folks not liking the Maxton lips so I rolled the dice on this front lip. Looks pretty good and compliments the other carbon pieces IMO.

Sweet! Does your mirror tap have a capacitor in the circuit? Mine in the X5 and previous F82 would always power off when traction control hit.

I have no clue sorry, I'm not too well versed in the electrical world.

If it helps I used this mirror tap:

Dammit - I just missed an R8 sale. Was all the way down to $540ish. Back up over $100 again.

Last night I officially relieved my G87 from it's upcoming winter-driving duties by picking up a 3rd family vehicle. 2008 Land Rover LR3 with 228k miles. It's a risk with the high mileage and potential maintenance costs, but it was cheap. Hoping to get 2 winters out of it.

I am planning to have a battery tender on my car for the winter months. Do I need to worry about putting Stabil in the gas and getting flat spots in the tires? I do plan on starting it up every couple weeks, and will drive around the block a few times when the roads are clear. Garage is heated and temp will be about 55 F.

Very interested in this too as I don't plan to drive my M2 (much) over the New England winter as I'm keeping summer sport tires on it.

If you drive it every few weeks you don't need fuel stabilizer or to worry about tires. At least, I've never had a problem with either and that's what I do.

A note: For people that DON'T have a garage, summer tires can crack if exposed to freezing temperatures for extended periods. In extreme cases, even if dismounted they can be damaged. Gotta keep them in warmed spaces.

That was what I did last winter in Chicago in a detached, unheated garage. I would have a battery charger connected every 2 weeks overnight (till it shows fully charged), keep the tires inflated to 36psi, and drive it at least once a month when the roads are dry and "clean". Made it through the winter with no noticeable issues.

Installed the TRE CS rear spoiler. Size is good, adds a splash of contrast, and verticality of it is more like a gurney flap than spoiler (2nd picture shows that better). I wish someone made one of these without the center notch, but that's probably just me.

That would look really good. I’d do a java green if I didn’t already have my car.

I sure wish I had a proper 4 post vehicle lift in my garage. Maybe one day I will. Juts curious, how come a 4 legs are not bolted down though... ?

A lot of 4 posters don't need to be bolted down and are completely stable (designed this way although some do need to be attached). That's the attraction of this one for me. It has castors and I can move the lift around. So in winter I can tuck it way in the back corner and store more toys (and the Wife's lemon tree ).
