Yup first one is the one I saw. I'm thinking my car will be loaded to Atlas Leader (27-Oct ->02-Nov) or Cassiopeia Leader (11-Nov -> 17-Nov)
Any idea how to find a boat that is sailing to Netherlands?

For me it was a bit easier as west coast people had been posting next available ship schedules.
I don't know which carrier lines BMW uses, but I'm guessing you can look up Eastbound RORO ships headed to UK/Bremerhaven? Sorry I can't help, but I got some info from G20 regional section to see how fellow regional members track progress (as it has more members than G42).

So, frustratingly, no change of status for 12 days now.

I also asked if he knew what is happening with the "Stop Sale", but he didn't. He did say that any problems (such as the rear camera issue) for cars that have left the factory would be addressed at the VPC. So, no big news there.

Time to re-apply to the credit union for yet another loan approval as the 60-day approvals keep expiring! Luckily they still offer a 3.49% rate, but I don't think it'll stay that way for much longer!
I'm in the exact same spot my car is been stuck in "Ready for Transport" since September 23rd. Genius had no clue of what it's actual status was. They did say that even with the stop sale they wouldn't hold the cars at the plant, which is at least some good news.

Took 6 months but, finally an update on my 240i xDrive

April 2022 - Deposit placed, waiting for allocation
June 2022 - confirmed change over to MY23
October 2022 - Allocation secured, November build

Now to finalize my options!

And I thought it was bad because it took 6 months for my order to finally make it to US soil. Six months just to get an allocation? Good lord.

My CA was upfront about the wait in the spring and I'm not in a rush to replace my GTI. It's a low volume dealer, only one in the state. Tulley would've got me a car sooner but, Nashua is about 3 1/2 hours away.

Funny enough they got 2 allocations in the same month. Maybe BMWNA was making up for lost time. IDK how many more people have deposits beyond me.

Did you ask them to run an app for you? They love to keep financing in house.
Thanks, yes, I have done that in the past and BMW Financial beat it. I DO also have a four-month BMW Financial approval for a slightly higher rate that will expire on Oct 31. It's probably a good time to get that extended, too. Then when the car actually is at the dealer, I'll whip out the CU approval and see if they can beat it.

Thanks! Not what I wanted to hear...almost 5 weeks after completion of the car to getting it on a ship. Well, at least the camera fix should be ready by then!

Thanks for that!
Update:I see that the Grand Legacy is still at anchor in Mexico and that it is currently scheduled to arrive in Port Hueneme on Oct. 14.

Thanks! I suppose it's possible that our cars (assuming yours is coming through Port Hueneme in CA) could get on the Grand Legacy despite Genius saying mine is still en route (for 13 days!?!) to the port from the factory. I believe I saw somewhere on the forum that something like that happened to him.

Mine has been “on the way to the port” for over 20 days. Brutal, but I take solace in the fact that if it were here, it’d just be sitting at the dealer waiting for the stop sale stuff to get resolved.

Something to note from collection, the build date on my door sticker shows the build was July 2022. Interesting given my timeline of statuses above, as nothing happened in July status code wise.

Interesting--I hadn't noticed my sticker but I just went and checked. I went to 150 on 6/22 with a build date of 7/12.

But on 7/21 I was still 150 but my prod date changed to 8/3

Stuck in Quality Check for 3 weeks, my production date changed to 8/23.

Quote:
5/31 first contact dealer to inquire about ordering
6/1 dealership sends newly released MY23 order guide, order placed for 2023 rwd m240i
6/16 112 scheduled for production wk28
6/22 150 prod begins/vin issued, build date 7/12
7/21 Still 150, Production date updated to 8/3 (delay due to factory changeover to MY23)
8/1 153 Entering Assembly Line, prod date now 8/2
8/2 154 Assembly in Progress
8/3 155 Quality Check, prod date now 8/4
8/23 160 Final Assembly, prod date updated to 8/23 (unclear why delayed in QC for 3 weeks)
8/27 165 Ready for Transport
9/7 195 In Transit (boat actually left 9/6)
Boat arrives 5:15p local time 9/7
Boat leaves 2:45p local time 9/8
9/8 193 At the Port
9/13 195 In Transit
9/14 198 At the Dealership
My sticker also says 7/22.

I'm guessing your "original" production date was 7/19 or thereabouts

I did have a week 29 build week at one point which was mid July, but the build week bounced around so much I lost track. M decoder shows a build date of 10th Aug.

In any case, it's here finally! Just found it interesting when I noticed on collection this morning.

Here is my timeline so far. I was fortunate enough to come across a local dealer (1hr away) that had an open allocation with a build date of calendar week 46.

September 30, 2022 - called dealer, $2500 deposit paid, build sheet finalized, allocation received (111 status)
October 6, 2022 - scheduled for production on November 6 (112 status)

Stevens Creek in Santa Clara had open allocations 4-6 weeks ago when I got mine. I'm a week 42 build, so depending on transport time, we might be on the same boat.

WRS_ATL have you had any updates on your car? I think we are both doing PCD and my car is still showing at the port on My Garage. I'm part of the stop sale so I'm being patient but I was wondering if you had anything change.

Hit final assembly last night. Hoping for smooth sailing from here.

Has anyone ordered port options and if that delays the process any?
