Yus. NJ- picking it up in Philly. CA says I’ll be on the next one (I just missed the last boat). Hopefully we are on the Adria Ace, Bravery Ace, or Grand Champion. I did see the Grand Champion had BMWs on it from Veracruz to NJ back in 2020…

Today my status was changed to 165 so it is on the boat.
I would really like to fallow the boat progress but my BMW dealer don't have any information on the courier. Any idea how to find out the name of the boat that is sailing to Netherlands? |

We don't have a genius in EU so there is no way for me to get this information, unless someone from US will make call. |

Anyone know if previous ships left straight from Veracruz to the east coast, or whether they also stopped at Altamira? The Grand Champion just took off from Veracruz but it looks like it’s stopping again at Altamira…

MY23 was showing ready for transport at factory for weeks now in my BMW online garage. I was patient for awhile but the other day I emailed the Genius and she emailed back today. Saying ""Your 2023 BMW M240i xDrive Coupe was in transit to the port of departure on September 23, 2022. Once it ships, new estimated dates and vessel information will be generated""
I placed my order April 4th. Getting closer......... |

My apologies if this was discussed before, I did some searching but could not find a definitive answer…
Do we know the exact order of events for vehicles coming out of the San Luis Potosí plant? Do the vehicles get placed on a train, or truck? Also it sounds like they are transported to Veracruz (which is kinda far from the factory) and not Altamira? Just curious, especially with the recent tropical storms in the area. Hopefully our cars don't spend too much time outside with tropical winds and rain. |

Of course, he makes a short stopover in Davisville
Then he joins (Barcelona, but not every time) then Southampton, Bremerhaven and Zeebrugge. They sometimes make stopovers in other ports depending on the circumstances. I speak here for the 240, I have already seen other companies for the other models (220/230) Status 165 does not necessarily mean "on" the boat but sometimes on the way to the port, but once this status is reached, the load on the boat is not very far. They do not make stops in the Netherlands. If you search a little on the forum and on google, you will have more information. |

Progress!
After twenty days in Ready for Transport, this morning my US-west-coast bound car advanced to Awaiting Carrier Assignment, and then minutes later, to At the Port, and now, an hour later, to In Transit. My CA told me a few days ago that he was pretty sure that my car was already on a ship after having been stuck in Ready for Transport status for so long.
Interestingly, just yesterday, the ship Grand Legacy left the Mexican Pacific port at Lazaro Cardenas and is heading (ultimately) toward Port Hueneme here in SoCal. Given the lags in updates, perhaps my car is on it. It would seem like it...The Port Hueneme schedule shows that the Grand Legacy is due in Hueneme Monday. The Processing Center is right there and only about 25 miles away from both the dealership and where I live. Anybody else (especially those in the Western US) who've been stuck in Ready for Transport get unstuck today? Looks like lots can happen while being "stuck" in Ready for Transport. 6/15 Ordered 7/13 Scheduled for Production, Genius says Week 32, 8/7-8/13 8/5 Back to Order Received 8/8 Still Order Received, but Genius now says Week 38, 9/11-9/17 8/18 Back to Scheduled for Production, still Week 38, 9/11-9/17 9/1 Production begins, VIN assigned 9/8 Genius says expected completion 9/12 (becomes true! see below) 9/9 Entering assembly line 9/12 Assembly in progress, Quality check, Final assembly (all 9/12) 9/23 Ready for Transport 10/13 Awaiting Carrier Assignment, At the Port, In Transit (all 10/13) Last edited by JSM240; 10-14-2022 at 07:05 PM.. |

Yep, hit “At the Port” today and also going to the west coast. I have a very similar timeline as you. |
