Yep. The sales guy did mention the damage and repair. I looked at the front end and I could not tell it had been repainted.

They didn't want me to take it out because it was less than 45 degrees outside and the car has summer tires. We chatted with the GM, Ric, and he made it happen. I was able to rip on it pretty good and the sales guy was very cool about it. You can go to the product listing and submit a "Schedule a Test Drive" through their website on that car. This would be the week to do it with temps in the 50's.

I was on the waiting list too but backed out a few months ago because I couldn't sell my other BMW and was struggling with paying 65K on a car without being able to drive it.

You will spend a few days in QC before moving to 165 RFT- this is where the real wait begins…good luck! It’ll be here soon enough.

Lol, is that when I start playing around with the vessel tracker and try to guess what port & ship my car is going to be in? (Seen a lot of people go through it on thesw threads &#129315

Exactly- Depending on shipping schedules, you'll be in 165 anywhere from 1 week to 3. I was there for almost a month! Once you get assigned a carrier you will have another 2 weeks maybe 3 until delivery date. It feels like forever but it's not terrible. During that time you can look into PPF places (that is what I did).

At long last, my BSM M2 with Carbon Pack and HAS is finally here. The relief that I felt driving the car off the lot after over a year of waiting in the face of seemingly endless delays was cathartic.

Just dropped it off at the shop for full PPF, tint, ceramic coat, reflector delete, and cf trunk lip.

Echoing what everyone else has said to those waiting, it’s all worth the wait as soon as you get behind the wheel, so keep on keepin’ on.

Congrats!! She looks amazing. Those CF buckets are good looking. Good luck trying to keep her tame for the next 1200! Hopefully you'll get some fun on the downshifts in the sweet spots to hold you over.

So apparently my m2 was not on toronto from veracruz to galveston that departed 11/6? (Set to arrive 11/8)

Just heard back from BMW Genius today:

Our records indicate that your 2024 BMW M2 Coupe has arrived in the United States, has been released to a carrier from the Vehicle Processing Center (VPC) as of 10/31/2023, and is currently on it's way to BMW of Wichita Falls for delivery!

Since 10/31 have you checked with Genius aside from today? Did your MyGarage ever update from RFT in the past week? I’m hoping I’m on the Toronto myself headed to Galveston but I have no idea. I have been RFT for over a month count your blessings that you got it quick

Yeah I actually called them last week and they said that it was getting on a boat on 11/3? They said delivery to the dealership should be this week (week of 11/5). I'm getting a lot of different info when I call in vs email. My garage still says At the port right now, never moved to In transit.

Thank you! You're right - that first 1,200 is going to be painful (but amazing, at the same time). It was already so tempting to see what she could do on the first the 15 mile drive to the PPF shop.

You really can't go wrong with black if you're up for the maintenance that it requires. I wouldn't have it any other way.

HAS is Height-Adjustable Suspension. I had it installed at the port to drop the car 10mm and close those wheel gaps.

I recently sold my 2019 M240i that was black sapphire with black wheels. I enjoyed the time keeping it clean so no worries. But feels like I will be way more OCD with the new car.
