Great TV series - What are you watching now?

Wow. Utter waste of time. It’s like someone took the idea from John Carpenter’s “Escape From New York” and tried to make it their own. DMZ fails on so many levels.

I'd imagine that life on the frontier was hard but DAMN. One better not be depressed watching this series, did anything happy ever happen on the show? LOL. I've lost count, how many settlers started and how many survived? Seemed like just a handful.

Didn't realize that this was a prequel to Yellowstone. For some reason I still haven't gotten around to that, maybe this will finally make me watch it. Do they tie in nicely (w/o spoiling anything to the latter show)?

I watched the first episode, thought it was decent for a “Western.” But then I had to subscribe to yet another streaming network for more episodes, so I did not get to finish the series. But, to your point, the first episode (heck, the even opening scene), was beyond depressing to the point I knew what to expect if I continued.

If you haven't watched Arcane on Netflix you are missing out. From the same studio that created the game League of Legends, but you don't need to know anything about the game or characters going into it.

The story is excellent, voice acting top notch, animation is beautiful and all I do now is listen to the soundtrack on Spotify after watching the series back to back. Easily best show I've seen in the last year.

I've recently watched the first episode; and started the 2nd. I agree the animation is beautiful. That opening scene in episode 1 had me in awe.

I need to get back to watching it. Unfortunately, now that the weather has improved, I dont' watch as much TV; so, it may take me some time to get through it.

Stay with it if you can. Only 9 episodes in total, really great character development and the final scene of the season is

Just finished 1883. Thought it was good and I think can be watched w/o having seen Yellowstone. If you have Prime, there might still be a special triap subscription that's 2¢ for 2mo. I'm not keen on subscriptions but 2¢ for a 10 episode binge isn't too bad.

Started watching The Stand on Prime. Seeing Whoopi Goldberg as Mother Abigail was a let down but I'll hang on for a bit. I saw most of the first TV adaptation but am trying to remain unbiased with this one.

Funny story, when I was living in the college dorm, somebody said I looked like the antagonist Sato and word got around and I guess some weird rumors circulated and snowballed w fiction somehow merging into reality and this particular kid was scared sh*tless whenever I was around him, physically cowering and not wanting to get noticed by me, thinking I was this scary connected dude lmao. Fun times.
