Interestingly enough, I drained 1.3L out of the trans although manual specs max 1.6L.
Got part numbers for the transmission drain? I found one but it says it's not for the S58

It was in my car. Intermittent yet when happening constant vibration/rattle from the thing. I thought it was the panel but that never got better with pressure anywhere so figured it was something in the panel...turns out it was that thing...When the doors were locked the rounded end was near the bottom of the plastic sleeve/housing and on roads with rough texture constant vibration. Took me a while to figure out what it was. Put a finger on the lock pin and rattle completely gone. These are installed now so when the doors are locked the flared end is pressed against the housing and no more rattle!

People can make fun of me for these, but for $73.08 shipped, I have my SANITY!

I just have 1 more rattle to the left of my glovebox to find.

This is the one I ordered, and it worked great.

https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-6...5-23117531356/

I just noticed that it says it doesn't work with the G87, but it's the same size and pitch as the OEM plug. It is just a bit longer, but I looked and probed and don't think it's touching anything on the internal side.

Put the MHC side skirts on Sunday to complete the kit. Think I’m done with exterior mods for a bit unless I end up getting the carbon fiber mirrors.

I had an annoying whistling with windows down & couldn't figure out where it was coming from, right at my left ear. I thought it was wind whipping around the mirror housing. Eventually figured out the round lock tips (seem to) let air in around the lock, causing the damn whistle. All gone with the new ones covering the hole better.

Plus, they look nice. Well worth the money.

Installed the Racechip GTS black tuning box on my M2 last night. The weather was a bit cold for my OEM Michelins so I couldnt crank it up too much. Even in Eco on Map 3 it's a huge power difference.

I wasn't really considering adding the Racechip until next year but came across an awesome deal on a used one on the forums so here we are. Hopefully I will get a few more warmer weather days before we go arctic here in MN so I can further assess the tune but so far so good.

Installed the M Performance alcantara armrest, super easy to install coming from me who’s not the most hands on kind of person.

Now I’m torn between getting the G8x LCI steering wheel in leather or in alcantara.

Thanks...added a few more things to include IND painted CF front bumper piece...feel it completes the look of the car. And Valvetronics full exhaust in CF. Gonna add EAS Lightweight front spoiler in gloss black later to offset some of the CF up front on the intake level and probably a CF grille. Oh yeah did CF mirror covers from RS-Carbon too. Great price and fitment.

Yes those were the painted ones from IND. Good installation..quick and easy. Skipped the pre-done ceramic on them tho and did it myself as I did the whole car myself and front wheels with AMMONYC Reflex Pro II and saved myself a great bit of $$.

Used the eraser wheel off Amazon.com bout $14 vs the $44 3M ones...did the same job very easily...took me about 10-15 mins plus Go-Gone to clear off residue. Worked well...Keis CF lip now installed.

Hmm...will keep that in mine when I do mine later on depending on diffuser I chose. Question is it the diffuser model or how BMW designed the tabs? What is so difficult to re-install the new one...if you don't mind me asking. Hard to tell from the comments...

Nope...do it myself and save about $1200+. Used AMMONYC Reflex Pro II and did mine after also doing my SUV also and both turned out awesome. Took me a few hours of work to include prep and ceramic install and as said saved some $$ and also got to relax while working on the ride(s). That part is always a plus for many of us especially with a nice beverage!

Used Bummercode for the first time and coded in the additional sound profiles, eliminates the legal warning on startup and working on coding off ASD. Still need to do the “expert mode” options and verify those are all off.

Also installed Cermaic Pro Kavaca PPF on the carbon fiber roof in their clear-matte finish so it looks great with the frozen PB paint.

Jonesing4a2 oh goodness that metallic PB is gorgeous!! I would have had a VERY tough decision if that was available for MY'24 when I ordered mine. I love the frozen, but I've always been a sucker for metallic blue ever since the Honda Civic Si in "Electron Blue" back in the late 90's.
